I think we should put our whole life into others as well as our family. If we feel God wants us to and if you are a strong christian.

I don't mean force them to go to church...just give them the facts(not brain washing them) so they could decide on their own.

I believe it's wrong not to help others knowing the truth of God.

A lot of people don't know for sure and im not talking to you.
...I'm talking to christians that ARE strong and are still lazy to help others with the facts.

That is if you have the facts from God.

They promote crass, rampant materialism, defining yourself by your outward appearance, success, anything goes mentallity, promotion of values about yourself, society, sex, anything and everything, in a somewhat negative way.

Fashion, music, movies, all give the viewer ideas about everything on their own self image, to what they should drive, where to live, what to value, who to marry, etc. And it's all somewhat godless.

Don't want to make this too long, or pose an epic of an argument, but it's a simple question,

is the entertainment industry evil, from a religious perspective?

Doesn't it virtually go against every commandment, or what is written in the bibles or scriptures of many religions?

Does it not promote falsity? Advertisements, marketing, etc, are AIMED to delude us.

I don't see how the entertainment industry's influence on modern man is a GOOD thing, let alone a godly/religiously non-offensive thing.

Any opinions?

Even though Meryl Streep and Robert Redford are in it as well, I just can no longer sit through anything with Cruise in it. Ever since he started up with the whole scientology mess he's just not entertaining to me anymore.

I’d like to know if I’m alone in this thought or if others feel the same way I do.

* Airplanes kill retarded men a lot faster than the men kill themselves.
* Airplanes don't get mad if you hide the remote.
* Airplanes don't object to how many bags you take on a trip.
* Airplanes always have a better build than men.
* Airplanes don't come with idiocy.
* Airplanes don't care what you're wearing, or how other airplanes look at you while you're wearing it.
* Airplanes don't care if you fly other airplanes.
* Airplanes don't mind if you're IN their airplane magazines, or how many other people are looking at the airplane magazines.
* Airplanes don't expect to be untied, after you tie them to a brick and throw them in the ocean.
* Airplanes don't comment on how high maintenance you are; they require quite a bit of maintenance, themselves.
* Airplanes don't burp, even if something is wrong.

AND airplanes can carry a LOT more bags than men can.

OWNED.
