Not Catholic but I'll share how I protect myself from
Very Tragic disease - wear a helmet.
Vocal Trauma - don't speak too loud or scream
Venereal Tragedy - don't sleep around
Vest, Tight - don't let myself get fat
Virtual Tetanus - wear shoes while using a computer
Violet Things - there is no protection from those
Very Tumultuous Earthquakes - stay out of CA
Viral Takeover - wash my hands often, practice cleanliness

pissing on Catholics feel good ? perhaps, but it is ultimately a self-defeating exercise as nothing is lost or gained. Now, collect the pats on the head and slaps on the back from the local atheist corps and pick on some other faiths, you are getting pathetically boring...
BTW, VT diseases would be something you contract in Vermont ? just want to make sure I understand...

Catholics, Christians in general, are supposed to live a chaste lifestyle. Those who hold themselves up to this morality, and seek others who feel the same way, are the least likely of all to contract STDs from their spouses.

Artificial "protection" would even be necessary.

Don't knock chastity until you try it.

The best way to avoid any disease is to keep away from anyone or anyplace where the disease would probably be found .
If you're in the vicinity of a serious disease , don't expect a tiny piece of rubber to save your life. It's very difficult to not touch any part of a person except through the rubber .

Stay a virgin until marriage.

Marry a virgin.

Stay faithful after marriage.

Works every time it's tried.

I'm loyal to my wife and we do the rhythm method of family planning. No extramarital affairs for me because I'm a Christian.
