Because people do not always follow the ten commandments. I personally don't say that, and if I say "OMG" i mean oh my goodness or oh my gosh. It just depends on how you take it. People say it because they dont care.. that's my guess.

People are disobeying the 10 comandments. They are definatley not doing what the Lord wants. If you are a Christian then you already know not to do things just because everyone else wants you to. So take a standagainst it if you really beleive in it.!!!

to me that means just a saying like gosh. But your right it came from bad people and I promise to never use that again.
so what do we use to express that same thought?

A.) Technically, the Lord's name isn't God. And B.) People just aren't as good a Christian as they claim or ought to be. It is just that simple.

Since this does offend some believers and I do not believe in god, I have taken to saying the non-insulting OMIF (Oh My Imaginary Friend) instead.
