if so how often do you rethink what you stand for?

We are supposed to resist Satan, so I would say "yes". I have to rethink my standing everyday. Being a Christian doesn't mean we are always "Right". We often want to think this, but I've found many errors in my own ideas through out my life. However, constant, consistent prayer helps me discern right from wrong, and the Holy Ghost/Spirit guides me in the right path when I am willing to listen.

The problem comes when you try to determine what is "ungodly" and what isn't. If you accept the notion that God created the universe and everything in it, then by definition there is nothing that is "ungodly".

I have often noticed that what people usually describe as "ungodly" usually turns out to be a reflection of their own prejeduices.

What someone considers "ungodly" is quite varied. Under the heading of "Christian" are Baptists, Mormons, Catholics, etc etc etc who all have different ideas of "ungodly". (Some people find it ungodly to watch TV, wear make-up, dance...the list goes on and on.) What YOU do is YOUR business...what your neighbor does is THEIR business...unless they are harming someone else. If someone is doing something to hurt someone else (assault, murder, theft, etc) then ANYONE should do what they can to help out the victim, regardless of either one of your religions. But that wasn't your question, was it? My apologies. To answer your question: NO. No religion should force their religion down the throats of others just because they feel that that religion is right for THEM. Just because you wear a pink shirt doesn't mean everyone else wants to.

They are also to speak the Truth in love...Wishy Washy ones do, change falter in their convictions...The Bible is the Standard, that every Christian should stand on. One of the Apostles advised the teachers of the time to Shake the dust off their sandals and not bother with those who refuse to listen....Leave them Alone...Romans 1:24, Mathew 10:14....

My wife and I stand for what is written in the Bible. There is no reason to rethink anything if you are saved.

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts Romans 12

3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

This is what we are to be busy doing as the body of Christ.

Of course, the Bible clearly states we must even disobey a law if its against Go'd law. God comes first in all we say and do.
