To be quite honest with you I have come across a few Catholics who I am not too crazy about and in my opinion they need to back off and stop being all up in my face. All I am doing is trying to understand the religion more but to be hionest I am starting to like some Protestants better then some Catholics and am thinking about becoming a Protestant instead.

this is to go along with the god question i posted earlier.

since i have found myself believing in God but not the bible.

do you think more education specifically on theological stuff such as biblical events would make you belief less or more in the bible and the man Jesus??

in 1984 or so, the first case of HIV and other STDs was reported in the US. if everyone in the world DID NOT have sex before marraige, thesee STDs would never spread, right?

and isnt this, combine with many other scientific facts in the Quran, proof tht Islam is the truth? i kno the bible does the same thing, so now either Islam could be the truth OR Christianity. but refer to the folllowing:

1- Mohammad saw was illiterate.
2- thus, he couldnt have written the Quran.
3- he DID NOT plagerize the Bible becuase he didnt write the Quran and it is in many aspects much different from the Quran.

the above eliminates Christianity as a choice for the true religion. so after reading all this, isnt it easily concludable that Islam is the truth?

They didn't really accept that Jesus could save them, did they?

Did this catch God by susprise? Had he been assuming that they would really love the Jesus he was sending them?

Was he peeved, annoyed, irritated or what?

It put a kink in his aganda, didn't it? For thousands of years he had been mentoring a chosen people, and when the big culmination came to pass, they didn't like his messiah.

Oh well, give it to the Gentiles, see what they can do with it.

I'm a professional model and I chose to be a virgin because I want to give my husband my virginity and not any other man. Before any of you men say that virgins are inexperienced its untrue because at my Catholic School they teach us(the girls) on how to please a man from oral and onward. I've had boyfriends but they've tried to take my virginity or do other things with me sexually which is wrong. Men seem very intimidated by me and that makes me sad because I'm a nice girl but that doesn't mean that I am a push over. I just turned 18 and will be going to a good University. The girls at my Catholic School are all virgins and are very attractive! The teachers of the school even go searching for beautiful pure virgins at a young age and put them in the school with their parents permission. All you guys out there looking for a good virgin woman that is drop dead gorgeous, knows how to cook, be a good mother, is so sexually taught that she knows Karma Sutra, and is educated...

STOP!!! BEFORE YOU ANSWER CONSIDER THIS;
Mormans, J.W.s, Catholics and a slew of others like those of the James Town deaths.
Not to mention the leaders of the church I use to attend who insisted on a certain interpretation of the scriptures, and eventualy destroyed the whole body, which no longer exists.

Could this be considered a Miracle? I only had 17 dollars in my account and my Rent is due in 2 days time. Now i can pay my Rent on time. Do you think this could be a Miracle? I did not pray for it, but it happened.

Sorry this is off-topic, but I just had a little incident here at our shop. I am here alone and a little while ago a kind of creepy guy came in and started getting "fresh" with me... telling me I should "display" more and that I'm a good-looking woman. When I told him I needed to call my husband he said "don't tell him I'm here!" and he comes and sits right by me on a stool... I was THIS close to pepper-spraying him (we have some handy just for such possibilities) when a couple came into the shop. I was never so happy to see people.... he gave them a dirty look and then left. My question is, ladies, would you have waited, or would you have sprayed the guy right when he started saying suggestive things? If he comes back I'm asking him to leave, and if he refuses I'll spray him and call the cops! My husband went around the neighborhood looking to see if he could spot someone who fit the description but no luck.

Is the line pretty vague on how far we take Jesus' teachings about taking care of the poor, or is it not? Should we take care of the poor and downtrodden no matter what the cost? Should we trust their intentions of finding work, and even allow single mothers to use welfare as a way to spend time at home with their children?
