Thanks to Ptolemy (100 - 170 CE), all of educated humanity used to believe the universe actually revolved around them. They were wrong. Even today, there are still people who insist God created the universe. They are also wrong. Religious people are so completely in error, regarding the actual nature of the universe and how it came to exist, they generally deserve nothing but blame for severely hindering human progress.
