No matter how many times we try to tell you the truth about the Church you wont believe us, that is true in your questions and answers

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe we don't do the things you accuse us of, when there are so many saying no we don't do that?

Do you only go by hearsay or what?

I've read the Bible numerous times however, I seem to have missed the passage where Jesus said, "If you clasp your hands togethor and get a busy signal, pray through to my mother Mary."
Why do you pray to Mary?
I'm certainly NOT mocking or, downplaying this important and beloved woman, I just don't understand the point of it since Jesus never spoke about it or required us to do so...

The medieval sect of Christianity known as the Albigensians took self-denial to the highest peak: they viewed the "holiest" death as self-starvation. This idea intrigues me, partly because of its affect on the imagination of Simone Weil, whose partisan I am, and partly because of the linking of contrite self-denial with holiness.

Weil, who had a predisposition towards ascetic self-denial which coincided with her anorexia, was mesmerised by the idea of embracing the true ideal of Christianity. An Atheist for most of her life, she embraced Christianity intellectually after much study and debate. The movement over her soul of troubled emotions sought in Christianity a release, and an acceptance.

As she could not accept herself, but sought to sacrifice herself, the Albigensian doctrine seized her imagination and determination in equal measure: she did indeed starve herself to death, and died in the Christian faith.

Was this needless sacrifice? Your faith's view on self-denial?

The term fundamentalist is used for some people of a religion who've had experience with secularism but would like to impose their personal religious dogmas on everyone as a political tool!
When you go around the world and see muslim nations they have an Islamic state with minorities given a Dhimmi status reather than equal rights and are brutalised regularly. There is no experience with secularism.
Is there really a moderate islam or a moderate muslim? Is there only one islam ie fundamentalist and the so called moderates are deluding themselves holding on to "Allah" and hoping for some utopian peaceful Islam which doesn't really exist!
Have they read their Quran? If they have and still say there can be a peaceful Islam are they just playing people with "Takiyah"!

I was in a Christian relationship as a new Christian. Too early for a relationship. But I will spare you the horrible details. After the relationship was finished I fell completely away from God and I HATED my ex I harrassed him I was horrible to him I threatened him I caused him opression, harm, and just terrorized him. Yes, I went crazy. And even to the psych ward. Save your comments. It wasnt a pretty time in my life. The fact of the matter is, I am reunited with God and have repented for all of these things yet my heart is still heavy and I want to ask this person to forgive me for all I did to them. However I do not know the bible well enough to know if it says in scripture to go to your brother you have opressed and ask for him to forgive you, or if it is just God we are suppose to go to. And I am battling with - would contacting him again do more harm that good. I am struggling so much with this and I guess I want the answer from God and i've felt mixed up answers. advice?

There has seriously got to be a **** load of people in hell right? What does the Devil do with them all? He's got to feed them right? Even if the food turns to ash in your mouth he has to feed them. And what's the Demon to Sinner ratio down there? Like one demon to punish every 45,000 sinners?

What if everyone just revolted? Could they overthrow hell?

In the prophecy of Daniel there are 3 days mentioned.
1) 1290 2) 1335 3) 2300
If we take Tuesday, September 11, 2001 as Anchor Point.
Tuesday, September 11, 2001 + 1290 = Thursday, March 24, 2005
+1335 = Sunday, May 08, 2005
+2300 = Saturday, December 29, 2007

Though I see significant events in these days. I am not able to decide, Why September 11, 2001should be as anchor Point. Can anybody show the reason why or Why not
September 11, 2001 should be taken as anchor point.

Why did he take away his strenght? It was not his fault that his hair was cut short. It certainly is not a sin to fall in love and trust a girl.

Christianity is all about the scapegoat idea, so why not just use a balloon scapegoat and get on with your life, a better life without the baggage...your thoughts?

Convert them to what you think is right? An atheist who doesn't attack anyone's faith, for example - should Christians (or other religious people) try to convert them?

AND A religious person of any faith, who does not attack atheists -should they be ?

Why, why not?

I know many people DO try to push beliefs on others. But this question is regarding people who don't.

Many say that Catholics don't follow the Bible or even read it,
yet we were the first to put the bible together, our Mass is based on the teachings of the Bible

All Bibles came from the Catholic Bible with less books,

So how can you say we do not follow the Bible when we have the original?

Most of the questions and answers about christianity are by non-believers. And there is so much emotion tied up in this subject. Why aren't they asking more questions about buddhism, or islam, or hinduism? I really want some real answers as to why you can't just let it go, if you KNOW that there is nothing to it?
