There is not a mainstream religion on this planet that is true..
Religion as we know it today was invented by men for their own political gain and power..
A little history lesson will tell you that, try just for starters looking up the 60 years following the death of Constantine..
There you will find the a very alarming period when the Christian Church became more powerful than you could possibly imagine..
Only through murder and assimilation did it rise, and if that period never happened, or Constantine never converted on his death bed, Christianity would have remained just a cult..
Blessed Be.. )O(

Various religions are symbolic to one Cosmic Consciousness. It's the way different maps are used to understand the different parts of one World or different books by different authors on the same subject. Every religion’s objective is same, but varies in depth and has its own protocol to reveal the Truth.
Different religions are like different roads, leading to the same Truth. In the initial stages, religion can help us to understand Cosmic Consciousness; the way a stroller helps a kid to learn walking. From another perspective, the delicate plant of spirituality can be fenced by religion, which enables the plant to withstand with harsh weather of materialism. Fence (religion) without plant (spirituality) is meaningless.
Religion is a cup through which one can enjoy the drink of spirituality. Content are more important than container. People who are obsessed with container (pseudo religion) become ignorant and fanatic. Ignorance creates duality whereas true religion creates unity. Concepts and logics are created by mischievous mind. Any mental concept (pseudo religions), which creates division or structure, is an idea against spirituality. In fact, road of spirituality starts, where religion ends.
A true spiritual person may be inclined towards a particular religion, but will respect all religions equally. All flowers have their own beauty and fragrance.

Religion can be defined as “belief in God or gods to be worshipped, usually expressed in conduct and ritual or any specific system of belief, worship, etc.
True religion is neither rules-based nor ritual-based. True religion is a relationship with God. Two things that all religions hold are that humanity is somehow separated from God and needs to be reconciled to Him. False religion seeks to solve this problem by observing rules and rituals. True religion solves the problem by recognizing that only God could rectify the separation, and that He has done so.

The true religion must be determined by God, not by Man. The religions are in fierce competition and everyone of them claims to be the true religion. What did you expect? Until God selects the true religion, they are all true. Religion salesmanship comes from Man. Pay no mind to religion sales claims because they all pick themselves.

People have different scientific opinions about the universe, but that does not mean there isn't a correct answer....truth doesn't depend upon popular vote.
The convincing factor of course is God Himself, who reveals Himself to man according to His own will (and in accordance with our desire to know Him)

I'm laughing because you used the words 'religion' and 'unbiased' in the same sentence.
A religious belief is just that, and therefore there is probably no way to prove or disprove it.
