As I understand it, religion/spirituality/belief is just part of human nature. Now I wasn't raised in a religious family so I wasn't indoctrinated into any religion. I have a very hard time understanding religion.

There are people in this world killing each other because they don't agree on the proper way to worship the invisible man in the sky. Religion tends to be exclusivist (only WE are going to Heaven, etc.) Religion divides and causes hate.

And what's really strange is that if someone asks me if I believe in God and I say no, they act like I'm crazy.

Am I really crazy because I don't believe in an invisible man that lives in the sky and wants to punish people who don't hate themselves?

My husband is a Jehovah's Witness and it seems as though he has to portray a certain image in order to attend the Kingdom Hall and be accepted. He has not been baptized but because he was raised as a Jehovah's Witness he attends the Bible studies, goes the to the Kingdom Hall and has his one-on-one study with one of the Elders.

He wears a suit every single time he goes to a function. Why can't he wear a nice long sleeved shirt with a nice pair of slacks and dress shoes (basically without the jacket)? When I asked him he said that's just what Jehovah's Witnesses do. But why? Does it really matter?

I believe that everyone should dress nicely to go to the house of the Lord, but does that mean women have to wear dresses or dressy jackets with skirts and men have to wear suits? Besides the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate holidays, it seems as though they have a lot of requirements that have nothing to do with religion or God.

Who do you go to when you can't go to anyone? Do you feel life has a collective purpose and not just an individualistic one? How are you comforted when losing a loved one? What is the point of life if there is nothing afterward? Are we here just to serve as memories when we die?

them. The whole ceiling was full of them. They so were beautiful. I wanted to walk and have them brush against my face. there were some stars hanging from the streamers too. My daughter came in and wanted some and took them she also took a streamer that had a star ripped in half. Then we are outside sitting on the roof (city roof) and we could see the roof tops of everyone's house and there was someone who had some ducks in a cage and my daughter went to take care of the ducks. They also had two pretty birds sitting in a cage in their window. Then I noticed alot of houses had pretty animals. Which made me happy. There was someone selling dresses and I wanted to buy one. The lady thought the dress I was looking at would fit and look good on me. The sun was out and felt good and warm. Overall I woke up happy. There was also a guy in a white pharmacy coat he had black hair and blue eyes very attractive. He had a slight smile on his face. What the heck does this dream mean?

When, after each day of creating, the Bible specifically says, "So, the evening and the morning were the first day", and "so the evening and the morning were the second day" and "So the evening and the morning were the third day" and so on????? It is telling you right there that a day was a day and a night was a night. Why do people keep leaving this out when they talk about the creation? It is just so plain and simple. God didn't make it to be complicatied. He was saying there was day, and there was night, and that made ONE DAY. Anybody else agree with this?

The bible states that you should treat your body as a temple. Therefore, JWs will disfellowship someone who "unrepentantly" smokes. What about those who eat at McDonald's everyday or have an unhealthy lifestyle? Studies have show the same adverse affects with those habits. Shouldn't they also be kicking out those who don't exercise?

I grew up Catholic and primarily heard the term “Christians” when referring to other faiths, such as Baptists, just as an example. I know that Catholics are Christians, but you don’t here them refer to themselves as such often in public. Why? Or did I just grow around a different kind of Catholics?

Or are ONLY Christians allowed to disown their fanatics.

Hundreds of Churches openly support the Bush/Cheney policies which have resulted in thousands of innocent deaths.......

Do all Christians need to answer for his actions ??

Like Christians expect all Muslims to answer for Osamas actions.....

Who is the #1 Neocon Goddess ?

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity." -- Anne Coulter, Christian "Peace" Activist

Conquer,Convert or kill them.

Christians say Muslims teach and preach hate and yet Anne Coulter is a favorite for news talk and tv programs.......

Why the double standard ?

Because in their Church one needs to believe the additional Mormon teaching over the Holy Bible. So? They choose the Inspiration of the Mormon book over the Inspiration of the Holy Bible.

Aren't we suppose to be born again by the Holy Spirit of the Holy Bible. Through the Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible & through the Father God of Jesus.

Since the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ promised is given through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, there is no salvation provided when one loves the Mormon Jesus over Jesus Christ of the New Testament.

So? How can a person find salvation in a Mormon Church?

I think they can if they choose to love the Holy Bible Jesus over the Mormon book Jesus. But they have to seek God in prayer in their prayer closet.
