According to Baptists, Scripture is "the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried" (e.g., the Southern Baptist "Faith and Message," June 14, 2000). The General Association of Regular Baptists concurs that "We believe in the authority and sufficiency of the Holy Bible" (GARBC Articles of Faith), and then goes on to effuse that:

"The Bible is the final authority in all matters of belief and practice because the Bible is inspired by God and bears the absolute authority of God Himself. Whatever the Bible affirms, Baptists accept as true. No human opinion or decree of any church group can override the Bible. Even creeds and confessions of faith, which attempt to articulate the theology of Scripture, do not carry Scripture's inherent authority" (GARBC "Baptist Distinctives").

The Bible is indeed the inspired and infallible word of God. But the Bible neither makes the claim that Holy Scripture is sufficient nor that it is the supreme standard in deciding religious matters.

Indeed, when we speak of the Bible, we speak of a canonical collection of Scriptures that are accepted as both: 1.) inspired, and 2.) authoritative. However, nowhere in the Bible do we find a definition of the canon of the Bible, hence our canonical Bible cannot be said to have any Biblical authority in and of itself. In point of fact, the canon of the Bible was an ecclesiastical judgment, arrived at over several centuries of Christian life and reflection, and finalized by a series of Councils in the late fourth century. The very process of the canonization of Scripture subordinates the Bible to the authority of the Holy Spirit operating through the ministry of the living Church!

God is not a liar!

God said, and it is logical that he would have said that:

Ezekiel 11:19
And I will give them a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in them; and I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh:

Heb. 10:16.
"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them,"

The Scriptures are full of history, Holy messages, and even revelations and are good for studies. But it seems silly to think that Humans are suppose to come with an operating manual.

It is not the Bible supposed to be Holy, but a man's life is supposed to Holy.

EDIT: Read Ephesians 6:2
That is exactly what I say about the Bible, it can not be taken as a manual of law. Because for some parents, if you have to honor them, then you have to be a criminal.

But the Bible is full of wisdom, as it indicates that time changes,
it is said that there would come a time when your enemies would be those in own house. This does not apply for everybody, but for those who applies, it holds true.

So we must learn to discern what message is good, and to what or who it applies.

The usual verses quoted from the Bible in support of the Supremacy of Scripture is: 2Timothy 3:16,17; '... all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Certain people hear the gospel. They are converted to Christ. If and when they see a Bible, or part of one (and in some parts of the world, they don't), they immediately recognise it as the truth as far as practical living is concerned. They use it as the standard to test whether other people are converted. They don't tell anyone that they have to believe the Bible. They just tell them the gospel.

It is the Christian Doctrine that nothing should take priority over Scripture. That it is the Final authority in matters of Faith and practice.

Its the belief that Bible is the only true and reliable guide in matters of faith. Se the link below for some Bible texts which demonstrate the Bible's claim to be supreme.
Hope this is useful.
