God does not heal them?

I think it is only fair that you can ask why doesn't evolution provide a help to them as well..

The double standards of a certain group of people (who shall remain nameless) are gross to say the least about them....

Why is it that the book industry doesn't go crazy about this sort of thing, but the music and movie industries go absolutely ape?

It seems to me that the True Antichrist lies within the people that claim to know who the Antichrist is. It all falls into place and makes Perfect sense. Picture this.

The world is in a time of chaos, and It needs a leader to stand up, someone to motivate and reunite the people, to bring order and prosperity.
However, in order for one to do such a thing they would need to have the attributes of the "Antichrist" therefore they would never be allowed to rise without being stopped. Because of this, The Essence, and belief Of the Antichrist, is really what tears apart humanity, Not the individual, but the ignorance to the fact that they need help, while all along they simply point fingers and fail and die.

Sacred?

We're told that God is Love-and He knows the score,

We're told to love our fellow man--& not engage in war.

Yet it seems God is the reason we form our little tribes'

pretending that we're separate--& some deserve to die.

I wonder why.

On one side there are obvious laws we all should follow, like those that prohibit murder.

On the other side there are obvious laws we should not all follow, like if the government banned all books or something.

But where can I draw the line? I feel that certain laws (such as those being pushed by the big money machines of the movie and music industries) have gone too far. Suddenly, what I can do with music or movies that I have purchased (my property) is being heavily restricted. Should I just go along with it and let my rights be taken away? Or should I continue in what I feel is my right, and hopefully with sheer numbers of other people who feel the same way eventually force change in the unfairly restrictive laws?

Just forget Christianity exists for a second...

And the basic concept is that there's one God. And he was great and all, he created us, killed almost everyone in massive flood, had a son named Jesus who was pretty great too, and he's coming back someday.

So if I started this religion. Do you think people would call me a crackpot?

and in what sense does he return? literally? or is it some thing like 'when we all accept his teachings'. i mean ive read things saying that it should be very soon and one book went as far as saying something along the lines of that if the second coming doesnt occur within a few years then all of christianity is wrong but im still confused... and what do you think will happen when christ returns... and what happens after hes returned? will it be like in the left behind series or something else? and what does the bible say about that antichrist does it leave any clues?

What if a Highly advanced alien race comes to earth one day, say 2012, just to make it interesting. Anyway, Say they arrive here, and then communicate with us "oh you have done so well, however, you apparently don't realize that we are what gave you life." and the aliens Continue to reveal that They simply created another intelligent being as a form of scientific analysis just to see how we would progress and grow through time. Which then it becomes clear after they explain in detail, That there was no God, just their highly advanced technology wondering and awing the simplistic minds of the early humans that they had created and been in contact with. Would You then finally stop believing in God? also, perhaps they have some sort of Video evidence of this as well. it is an experiment so there must be notes and logs.

Don't tell me they have no resources. The rest of the world keeps their pockets full of insane amounts of money due to oil, something they just happen to be sitting on and did nothing to earn. Apparently there's nothing in their religious about sharing the wealth so a few live in gold palaces while millions of their country's people starve in squalor. What advances have muslims given to math, science and all around advancing human kind??

Don't get me wrong, you don't have to be a genius to figure out that it is possible that christianity could be a myth, its just that it takes too much effort to effectively sort through all the christian apologetical counter-arguments.

Basically it works like this: First you have the various arguments against christianity. Let's say for example, the issue of god having odd arbitrary OT laws. God created various laws concerning what was kosher too eat. God absolutely demanded that a man could not work on the sabbath. God acknowledged slavery (even making laws pertaining to the institution of slavery) yet didn't speak a word condemning it as "bad". He reinforced the view that women are lowly property (rapist must marry victim).

14 years ago my then 8 year old sister and I (12 years old)were given a ouigi board by my Dad. We thought it was so cool and we used it everyday for at least a couple of weeks. One night, after "summoning" a supposedly "good spirit" which we always insisted upon, I asked it who I would marry... and it spelled out Satan. I remember watching my sister realize what it had just spelled out and I remember seeing the total horror in her eyes as she looked up at me. One of us, I can't remember which, threw the little plastic pointer thing at the wall, we ripped the board in half and threw it away (outside of the house, ofcourse and our dad got mad. Now I'm 26 and really good friends with a very intelligent man whos an athiest. Obviously, he doesn't believe in spirits and when I told him my little story he said it was either done subconciously or purposly by one of us. (Neither one of us has touched a board since the experience, I aked my sister if she would and she said "no freakin way."

Evolution is a science, not a religion. What draws the evolutionists to the religion section? If you deny the existence of God, why spend time in the religion section? Are you trying to decide if you believe in God or are you just trying to be combative? Serious answers only please.

On the one hand the Jesus said, "I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven," but then when it isn't, Christians cite the escape clause: "Do not put the Lord your God to the test."

How do you reconcile these ideas?

I just need a little help because I am and always have been a good christian. And that's not the problem, its the science side of all this. I mean science has been wrong before hence why its theorys, but right now it seems so true. One example is like how we evolved from chimpansess. Why do we have tail bones, and molar teeth? I don't know. And I kind of believe in life outside earth- like aliens... And if I think this is is it wrong considering that it contradicts God? I'm confused, and I'm not sure if anyone can help me, but do you guys ever get lost with this sort of stuff too?

I think I've discovered an undeniable pattern to explain this, but maybe I have my facts wrong, and need to read more before I talk

;)

Any data accompanies with references would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I dont really believe in anything although I admit there probably is the possibility of god, ghosts, aliens, etc. But I just wanted to know if any atheists believe in aliens, and of those that do if why they dont believe in god but do in aliens.

Kind of the same reason why I asked if christians believed in aliens and if they didnt why.
