Science is still cool even if you don't compare it to religion.

The contrast has helped me to see more clearly so I have no complaint .It's only the ones hanging by an unreasonable thread of intellect with a closed mind and maybe other shortcomings as well that find it so difficult to see past their own indoctrinations from birth to a more difficult view that to me appears very rational beyond the religious precepts that I was born with and over came through years of truth seeking endeavor. When you cross the fence to the other side it requires a desire to know and courage to see for those who have not yet been there to even consider the effort of finding out . Each to their own .

Scientific knowledge is useful and would be useful whether religion exists or not.

Scientific knowledge requires observation, theory, testing, and results....

Religion requires only faith...
