The truth is this: I gave a ride to the last pair of kangaroos to and from the great ark.

They probably didn't hop across the water since they can't do that even today.
I'm not sure how they did it, but then again, it could be how penguins found their way to the Galapagos islands from antartica. They say a current brought them there... seems unreasonable, but hey they're there and that is a fact! Incredible mysteries of the world! :) Good question, looking forward to understanding one day.

Despite what any severely-deluded nutcase may insist is true, the tale of Noah is just a story. Anyone with any sense can pick huge holes in it that are unanswerable without weird assertions of magic.

They flew on Qantas, which took 22 hours. With a stop over in Dubai of course.

There were some small joeys clinging to the dove that disappeared when Noah released it. And that's how we know that that dove made it to Australia, too.

Well, some believe Jesus walked on water...so it's not much of a stretch to believe kangaroos hopped on it, now is it?

Oh, but they couldn't hop back then. They hadn't evolved that far.
And the continents were all one giant land mass back then.
You need to get up early.....

Perhaps they were carried back by nice flying dinosaurs...
Or another option is that Peter Pan taught them to fly....
