I find the battle of the reilgous organisations for my belief and support condacending, are we all that gullable.
Or are we all that fragile that we all need to cling to our allotted beliefs, is it because we fear we may be evolved animals, and the ability to create religous belief makes us feel superior.
Our parents and teachers planted the virus of the belief of religon, because we trust them it is difficult to throw the creed from our system, were they only using it to help them control our behaviour, secular guilt, fear of missing out on eternal salvation.

Is it a huge cruel hoax

.....I always liked "City Slickers" with its message of hope, optimism and perseverance; love and family and friendships. It seemed to me to be a very positive, uplifting movie of life-affirming Christian values.

Also even though I believe Albert Brooks is Jewish - that great comedy with Meryl Streep "Defending Your Life" which was practically ripped from the pages of the New Testament: "Therefore each one of us must give an account of our lives to God." - Romans 14:12

So I am wondering this morning - as a Christian and a film buff - what are your favorite non-religious movies that seem to have hidden or not-so-hidden Christian themes?!?

The dictionary says Halloween is the celebration of pagan traditions, conjuring up evil spirits (devil , satan, ghost, demons, etc).
As christians, arent we suppose to stay away from these things? Why would we bring this pictures, toys, statues into our homes, have our children dress up as demons, ghoust, etc and particiate in this event?
The bible tells us to stay away from pagan worship and celebrations....?

I've been to friends' churches and they of course all of crosses but it seems as the only Catholic churches have an actual crucifix to show Jesus dying for us. At other churches I don't really recall seeing anything having to do with Jesus other than the crosses. Catholic churches show Jesus carrying the cross and everything. I was just wondering why it's the only church to do that. Please don't get offended. I think it's WONDERFUL to go to church no matter the denomination!!!!!!!!! It's just something I've always been curious about =o) I'm sure I'll get rude answers but remember to Love thy neighbor

I hear some christians say God dose not want you to be smart or different...

When many talk about God and the fear of hell, it sound like they are inspired by the devil.

I know many christians love and care (this is why I am Christian myself), but there are still many who hate and think they are following God when they follow the Devil into internal fear of damnation.

Are some Christians blindly following the devil?

In 1976 an Explorer wrote in his book titled 'Among the Dervishes', that on his travels he came across a cult sect of about 1000 people in Herat in NW Afghanistan. They were devotees of a man known as YUZ-ASAF ( translated as 'leader of the those he cured of leprosy') but Yuz-asaf was given as a title, they named him as ISA MASI son of Maryam. The proclaimed he was a Prophet of Israel who had travelled from the east and settled in Kashmir.

This story runs along side the tradition that Jesus actually escaped the crucifiction. It has been brought to light that there is other evidence.
