Did Satan lose his angelic appearance when he rebelled against God?

I believe that yes there was a drastic change in his Angelic appearance because he lost the Angelic purity that was once his,and although we are aware that he can appear in various guises the fact remains that in losing his purity his basic true form is fixed.

Satan is described in the Bible as being among the most beautiful of God's creation...and that was his description AFTER he rebelled against God.

The way churches depict Satan is false. He does not have horns neither is he dressed in red with a pitchfork. He is a spirit creature and looks like all the other angels that God created; whether they turned against God or not.

Personally, I think not. He is still the most attractive Angel and has no problem attracting almost every soul in the world. As long as man is willing to defy, what he knows to be, the teachings of God, regardless of which God in which he professes to believe, then Satan is still the most beautiful and desirable angel in the universe.

where's does this idea that satan is the devil come from. the jewish religion regards satan, (ha-satan; the accuser), as god's advocate to test the faith of men,(look it up in the jewish encyclopedia). he is an angel and not an independent agent but subject to god's will. also lucifer, ( heilil ben shachar), refers to a babylonian god with that name and is seen as a prophesy about the fall of babylon, not the expulsion of satan from heaven. they are different entities. why does this devil/satan/lucifer thing suddenly pop up in christianity. it looks more like persian dualism than any monotheism and it also resembles some of the pagan stories about prometheus who was expelled and punished by zeus for giving fire, (knowledge), to humanity. perhaps the early converts, who were mainly greek got the story of prometheus and the serpent, (nowhere is it called satan), in the garden of eden and mixed it in.

There's a Scripture in the Old Testament that describes the presence of Satan after the fall. I will try and find it - it says something like 'is this the one who once had power to deceive and sway the minds of many, this one?' In other words he went from 'Lucifer' light, brilliant one to Satan father of lies.

Satan never was an angel; He was just a lesser, lesser, lesser, lesser Son of God, made by our Master Jesus Christ. Who IS the Highest Coordinate Deity Creator Son of God and our True universe Father God here. Satan's boss, who was Lucifer, was just one step higher as a lesser, lesser, lesser Son of God, and he started the terrible rebellion against both God, and Jesus Christ here as God, in a small 1/10,000 part of Jesus Christ's (our) universe. That was recently, only about 200,000 years ago. In less than seven years, the rebellion was over (in some higher senses) and a good, faithful Son of God, Lanaforge, replaced Lucifer. Lucifer and Satan and a few dozen even lessers were allowed to run loose in this 1/10,000 of our universe until our GODMAN JESUS CHRIST Incarnated here on earth and won full Deity Sovereignty --all the Power of God -- here to us and all in his universe and Eternally -- no mere 1000 years ! Now, fallen Lucifer, Satan and others are in a higher spiritual prison world and have no more evil influences here. If any humans are evil, sinful, or even (the worst) iniquitous, that is just because they so choose in their self-willed evil hearts.

There is no (barbaric, stupid, dark age belief) "hell". Those who Absolutely and Finally reject God in Jesus here will just be later quietly and painlessly extinguished forever. "To Be or to be not."

200,000 years to meditate on to "Be or to be not" is seen only as 200 Paradise Days of time. We allow terrible human prisoners on "death row" about 7 years before zapping them.
God and Jesus are even much more merciful and infinitely wise. Maybe the fallen Sons of God and lower Angels will have some more time to reflect and see if they will accept the free salvation and rehabilitation offered by Jesus. Of course, they would be even much lower level "broom pushers" and mostly shunned IF they did accept the rehab. They are long weighing the costs deeply I would think.

No human can, on their own, conceive what Sons of God and Angels look like more than 0.00000000000000000000001% We have to do much long, experiential growing in Spirit and in Truth to know more. Now we have continuing Epochal Revelations to help us. Please drop the cute little "baby angel with a cupid's bow" idea. The lowest, most junior angels are here now easily travelling 21 times around the whole earth in one second of our time. They travel at very close to 3C or three times the speed of light. Thus they are NOT mere, gross, limited physical bodies that, at best, can run only 4-8 minutes or less at less than 15 MPH average speed. Middle Angels go about 50,000C; Some higher Angels, Sons of God, Beings, Entities can easily travel at INFINITE speed; and some may rarely even go "instanter", arriving at the far end of the Universe of universes BEFORE leaving the near end.

It is now a good time for humans to drop their small, dark age lingering thoughts and grow up. E.g., Humans do not have "five senses". They have about 12 physical senses --ask any good doctor or scientist. Also, all should learn well that God never changes, and He/They have no gross, bad human emotions such as rage, hate, anger. Those bad emotions are now even being seen more widely as all being SUB-human as they actually are.

He was still called SHINING STAR, and he presents himself as an angel of light! Else how can a dude with horns & tail with a fork,fool you? dresed in red no less!!!

I really don't think so because if he did then he wouldn't be able to seduce people into doing evil. He makes evil like good. But we really don't know what he looks like.
