"Is [God] willing to prevent evil, but not able? then is he impotent. Is he able, but not willing? then is he malevolent. Is he both able and willing? whence then is evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"
"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. If God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" — Epicurus, as quoted in 2000 Years of Disbelief

IF there is a supreme being in the universe, it is neither good nor evil, the bad as well as the good in the world happen solely due to the human race being unable to form a cohesive society as a species

God doesn't put evil into the world nor does He give anybody any diseases. But people bring trouble and curses on themselves by the things they choose. Cause and Effect, you know? And God did give people the authority on this earth, remember?
OK, it's like this:
In the beginning God gave man-kind all the authority over the earth. "to reign in it". But Adam and Even sold that authority to the devil when they chose to go against that what God told them. So then the authority went to the devil so he did all kinds of evil on the earth (and still continues today of course.)
Now Jesus came to give back to man that which they gave to the devil; that same power and authority which they had in the beginning. So now you can have that power to tell sicknesses and things alike to go away, if you will receive Christ anyway. Believe it or not, but it's all true, and many people have "tasted'' this truth.
Luke 9:1: Then he called his twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. ......9:6: So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Only if you apply human standards to it, and judge the whole thing from a human perspective, and assume that the supreme being is or should be like a human and do things primarily to suit humanity.

When you thought of the Supreme Being, where did the 'evil" arise?

Why blame the supreme being for your personal judgment on the world. You are the one choosing to see it that way.
It's not the way that I see it.
