It makes it so easy for the ego group to believe the giving group (resovling, freewill) are targets. The ego group uses guilt rather than truth and thinks they are manipulating the giving group, building more ego.
Universally, negativity creates negativity. However; in the human world, a lot of crap gets thrown on the wrong person and they hold it for the other.
If the giver gets the guilt from the ego person, they should give it back. It wasn't their guilt in the first place.

Our church doesn't we use fun. We just had our Christmas Toy Run yesterday and we raised $2,000 and a truck load of toys after all our expenses to get children toys for Christmas. Everyone had a blast no guilt necessary.

some people know that if they ask for something they wont get it...(maybe because they ask for things too much) so they throw on the pouty face and make others feel bad for not giving it to them...i used to be very weak to this but try not to give in anymore...its just a way for people to take advantage of others
