.....I always liked "City Slickers" with its message of hope, optimism and perseverance; love and family and friendships. It seemed to me to be a very positive, uplifting movie of life-affirming Christian values.
Also even though I believe Albert Brooks is Jewish - that great comedy with Meryl Streep "Defending Your Life" which was practically ripped from the pages of the New Testament: "Therefore each one of us must give an account of our lives to God." - Romans 14:12
So I am wondering this morning - as a Christian and a film buff - what are your favorite non-religious movies that seem to have hidden or not-so-hidden Christian themes?!?
