Jesus, the Son of God, prayed to God the Father. God the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus at his baptism.
God the Father spoke at the Transfiguration:
Matthew 17:5
While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"
This is the evidence that points toward God as a Trinity of three Persons. Note, however, that the three Persons are not three separate gods, because the Lord our God is one.
Some people try to simplify the Trinitarian insight, but remaking God as only one person, or imagining him as three gods, cannot account for the evidence of revelation.
I have found it helpful to draw an analogy to physics: We have evidence that light is a particle, but also that light is a wave. Though that seems to our weak minds a contradiction, scientists must hold both ideas to account for the data.
Similarly, unless we believe the full revelation that God is one God, but that he is three Persons, we cannot enjoy the truth of orthodox Christianity, and we end up in a sterile heresy.
Cheers,
Bruce

Easy to answer he prayed to his father in the heavens ,his creator as Jesus was the first born of all creation and with god & helped god with all other creation.
He did not talk to himself.
Christians worship the god of the Jews and the same god the Muslims worship also and they know there is no trinity. Only the Christians changed to believeing in the trinity about 325AD .
How many times does the bible say I am the one true god (not I am the three true gods)?Jesus is under god not god ,1 Corinthians 11:3.
Reguarding the time of the end the bible says no one knows the hour not the angels not Jesus only the father so if jesus was god he would know.
It is so simple why can people not see it? Why do they miss quote John 1:1 ?
In many ways the Jews and Muslims know god better than many of us Christians.

Jesus prayed to his Father. Likewise, when he was baptised the Father and the Holy Ghost. This is quiet obvious in a study of the mentioned passages.
Perhaps you are asking the folks who believe that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Ghost are the same person.

I'm wondering why you ask when you already know, dear one.
The Godhead is comprised of 3 separate beings. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Together, they are One God. Just as a man can be a father, son and husband all at the same time.
God bless!

god is not a trinity. if you simply make jesus, Jehovah, and the holy spirit three entirely seperate individuals, as the bible screams to do, everything will make sense. if you want about 50 pages of scriptures and reasons to do this, just email me.
