Why not try both to see where you feel the most comfortable.

If you're wanting to know about the Bible then you will probably be better off in a church that believes it to be true! This is what Evangelical means - accepting the Bible as the Word of God (His "evangel" - good news). You'll also probably find that in an evangelical church more time each week is given to explaining what the Bible means rather then spending time in rituals which tend to be more of a feature in Anglo-catholic churches. Hope you find this useful. May God guide you in your search for His truth.

Evangelical churches are "Bible Based Churches." You will definitely learn more Bible there than at an Anglican Church.

If you want the whole truth and nothing but the truth, go Catholic.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply the others would lie; just saying the Catholic Church is the original and the bible came from her. Would only make sense to learn about the bible from the church that gave it to us.

I would advise an evangelical church, as they believe the Bible. Sadly, these days, some of the higher churches don't.

I have found out more since going to a charismatic evangelical Church. Our word comes from the Holy spirit. It is my choice to study the bible daily.

Try both and see which you feel more at home with. Me, you would never catch me in an evangelical church.

Why not try both and see which one you feel most comfortable in? Ask God to guide you. Or do an alpha course with one and see how you feel.
