He does not really need us, but He loves us because we are His precious creation, who have capability to distinguish between evil and good.

If we don't praise him, the rocks will.
So no, God doesn't necessarily need us, we need him. He created us because he wanted us. God's creation is perfect in a sense that he created us just the way he wanted us to be. But he also gave us free will. Our purpose is to glorify HIM and give all the praise and serve. If we were robotic with no free will, what would be the point? We would just be "puppets". If we don't struggle and overcome temptation with HIS help, then how can we grow and touch other lives?
God loves us so much that he graces us with his mercy even though we don't always deserve it.

Oh buddy, you're generalizing. It's just when somebody evil has a lot of power, we all suffer. And I think we need God more than God needs us. God would need us because God loves us.

God created heavens and the earth he doesn't need them does he. We are in need of him. He created us to assess us in this life, who does good and who does evil. And if hereafter is not true whats the point of doing good then? A person who does evil is same as the one who did good at then end if there is no life after death.

he/she/it doesn't need us....

we need he/she/ it..

I don't think God is some un-personal, high in the sky, judgmental God, I think that God is within and until we can awaken to that realization then we dont have anything except doctrine.

God awakens us to be loving and sensitive. To essentially be Christ-like. Not necessarily Jesus-like, but Christ-like.

Jesus became Christ or went into Christ-consciousness, but Jesus was not Christ.

Christians say Jesus Christ like it is his last name...not so...So if we enter into that Christ-consciousness like Jesus did at one point during his very human life, then we also will become like Jesus because we are entering into that same spirit that he did... same with any other religion. You can take any of them and apply this, I just use Christianity because it is the center of most peoples beliefs here...same with Buddha, Muhammad, etc.etc.
