I am talking about family pictures like you would take at a wedding or anniversary but also...

pictures of the deceased?

I guess I don't understand. I don't like my picture being taken anyway and once at a funeral I was forced to get in a family picture. I felt very uncomfortable and it felt rather morbid to me. I have also known people to take pictures of the deceased during their wake? Can you explain the reasons for this? Do you actually go back and look at these pictures?

I was sleeping one night, and woke from a dream I was having about my grandfather that died 3 months ago. I was awake, looking around the room. All of the sudden, he was talking in my ear. He told me he was fine, that he was with his mom and dad, and to stop worrying about him. I was not dreaming! I felt warm breath on my ear, and it was his voice. Has this ever happened to anyone? Am I crazy?

What would be the most respectful Islamic way to respond to another Muslim's death? I would like to know what the Qur'an and Hadith say about this.

I 've listened to him & have listened to people that think he's the greatest and others who think he is not sincere. 60 minutes last Sunday he was on and I want to believe the things he says but sometimes it's just so hard. Tell me what ya'll think? Thanks

i was at a hockey game recently and right out in the middle of the ice during the game was a feather falling lightly to the ice. it was in a closed area so i have no idea how it got there. in my family before my mothers grandma died they were very close. but after my mom's grandma died my mom was in despair and she asked for a sign that her grandma was still watching over her so the next day she went outside and on the roof of her car were hundreds of little white feathers very fair and dainty. she has found them ever since when she is in particularily puzzling situations, even my dad has seen them. i have been very stressed recently so stressed i have been becoming sick, and i was feeling stressed that day, so i became sick at the game and thats when i saw the feather, when i got home i also smelled burning candles in my room even though the last time candles were in there was a year ago.

When my mom was young, she was kidnapped by the Pol Pot ( a war in the 1960s when the Viet invaded Cambodia) and they killed my uncles & my grandfather. After my grandfathers death,my mom said that she she saw him & he told her to go with these people and they gave her food and washed her. & i know shes not lying. Do you think spirits and come contact us on earth?

I've stopped going to church after I've realized that people in there are not all that worked up to be, let alone perfect, or pure, or innocent, or christianly, or godly at all. they are just people, regular people like any other human beings outside of the church. although I may have had high expectations, at least the people outside of the church are not as hypocritical by not proclaiming purity and christianliness while doing the far opposite.

what I'm saying is that people inside and outside of church are all the same. some good some bad. so there's no reason to go to church. i can worship and be spiritual anywhere, not necessarily in a church.

i dont beleve in god, but i do believe that we get reincarnated.. by our sprits...
cause i grew up with my mom saying there was no thing as magic, or anything special.
so idk .. when i was 10 i said..
if theres a god why is he being this mean
and stuff like that .. so i stopped believeing in him
but oddly i still believe in ghosts and stuff...
just that their spirits who couldn't find another body to become part of... so their trapped on the earth with no body.

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.- So believers would you really pick up snakes and drink poison and survive?

NO ATHEISTS!

Has God spoken to you? How do you know it was God? Was it in a dream? Do other things speak to you in your dreams? Do other things speak to you when you're not sleeping?

If Lucifer was a "liar from the Beginning" as the Bible suggests, how is it that He got the job of protecting the throne of God or how is it that Lucifer was the most favored of all angels?

Was God deceived by Lucifer, or was Lucifer deceived by God?

Does it bother you when you are referred to as a fundie from non-christians in a negative way?
Do you think other Christian groups should refrain from using this term as it is divisive and not Christ like?

Do most of these men still live in the mindset that women are to obey them, serve them and be seen and not heard? I know it's not good to generalize... what are your thoughts on this? Is Christianity partly to blame for this? Is it their age and how their generation grew up? I am trying to understand the examples that I know of...

Is there any way to help them see and know the value of women so that they can learn to treat them as equals?

If you are a man that falls under this category, let us know what you think. Thanks.

Why is it up to Christians to provide information proving the existence of God? Why are we somehow obligated to do so? As Christians, we are supposed to spread the word of God, but when an atheist asks questions regarding proof, there is nothign that we can do. Not because there is no proof, but they are in the mindset to reject it anyway. You will always receive the same answer, even though there is scientific evidence that God does exist. It is said that Christians are pushy and try to convert everyone to Christianity and that if they do not, then they damn people to Hell, which isn't true. We do not have the power to do so anyway...only God Himself does. I have found that atheists try to convince me that there isn't a God. Isn't that being a hypocrit? Why is it alright to try and disprove God to Christians, but it's looked down upon by atheists when a Christian tries to explain that there is a God?
