If Lucifer was a "liar from the Beginning" as the Bible suggests, how is it that He got the job of protecting the throne of God or how is it that Lucifer was the most favored of all angels?

Was God deceived by Lucifer, or was Lucifer deceived by God?

How can mankind ever know?

I'm afraid you don't know who Lucifer is.

The name Lucifer occurs once in the Scriptures and only in some versions of the Bible. For example, the King James Version renders Isaiah 14:12: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”

The Hebrew word translated “Lucifer” means “shining one.” The Septuagint uses the Greek word that means “bringer of dawn.” Hence, some translations render the original Hebrew “morning star” or “Daystar.” But Jerome’s Latin Vulgate uses “Lucifer” (light bearer), and this accounts for the appearance of that term in various versions of the Bible.

The expression “shining one,” or “Lucifer,” is found in what Isaiah prophetically commanded the Israelites to pronounce as a “proverbial saying against the king of Babylon.” Thus, it is part of a saying primarily directed at the Babylonian dynasty. That the description “shining one” is given to a man and not to a spirit creature is further seen by the statement: “Down to Sheol you will be brought.” Sheol is the common grave of mankind—not a place occupied by Satan the Devil. Moreover, those seeing Lucifer brought into this condition ask: “Is this the man that was agitating the earth?” Clearly, “Lucifer” refers to a human, not to a spirit creature. Isaiah 14:4, 15, 16.

When he decided to lie & entice others to lie to get their way.

God was never deceived by God. Lucifer is a liar & an identity thief & a thief & a murderer since the beginning.

When God created Lucifer, he was beautiful & good. He became prideful & wanted Gods position. So? Was jealous of mankind & deceived man in the form of a serpent in a tree.

Lucifer was deceived by God. Then to try and hold on to what little of his kingdom he had left after 1/3 of the Angels walked out on him. He cast Lucifer down to earth apparently, because he was sinful. I ask you this though in return, "Why is it wrong to want to be free?"

Well first off, It was Satan who is the father of lies. "Lucifer" is only mentioned once is scripture . In Isaiah 14 : 12
And it does not say that Lucifer was the father of lies.
I belive in Satan , however I'm not convinced that Lucifer is one of his names. As for the question at hand, I dont think decieved is the correct word, I think betrayed is more like what happened. It was satans pride in his own beauty that led him to his demise. Satan Chose his place in the world.

Lucifer or Satan (he goes by a number of names) fell from God's grace and his spirit was sent to earth to test man's faith. He was (and is) a master of evil and temptation. Not many can resist his wiles. Only firm believers in God's grace can quell the evil that pervades our world. Lucifer was favored until he showed his true colors. Is it really important for man to know who was the deceiver? I'll let you guess.....

God created Lucifer and he was the most beautiful angel in heaven until he got the notion he wanted to be God. God found out about his plot to overthrown Him and threw him out of heaven. Then he became the father of lies. That is how the story was told to me.

Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven because he thought he was above God. Pride took over and he lost. God wins everytime. The old devil had freewill and failed miserably just like we do, fortunately for us God sent his son Jesus Christ into the world to die on a cross and wash away our sins. Our sins seperate us from God, the Bibles says in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. When Jesus was crucified and then arose from the grave he forever opened the door of salvation to all who will believe. Salvation is a gift it cannot be earned, all we have to do is accept it by faith, confessing our sins and calling upon the name of Jesus, just pray this simple sinners Prayer and you can have a new life and a new start today, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Lucifer didn't.
Lucifer was a Babylonian king, not "Satan".
Due to a 14th century mistranslation, he has ever since been associated with Satan.

Kind of funny.

"Lucifer" means "light".
