Bad. You can be as irrational as you want to in fantasy. But when you start believing your own BS, you're in trouble.

Are you aware of the 11th and 12th commandments? They are more important than the first ten, in my opinion.

11. Thou shalt not take thyself too seriously.
12. Thou shalt not believe thine own BS.

Why would you even present a choice? With the way you worded it, who would actually say yes? A deeper question would be, "What constitutes an irrational belief?" That's subjective and left to the individual to decide.

Irrational things of any type are never good - irrational thoughts and beliefs breed FEAR, Panic and Violence.

Irrational beliefs... I have no problems with them. Irrational acts are another story.

Somehow I just can't seem to bring myself to say that there is a lot of good hidden in an irrational belief.... But, call me crazy, because that's how I'm thinking.

Definition of irrational:

Not endowed with reason. Affected by loss of usual or normal mental clarity; incoherent.

Does the belief in the supernatural belong to this class of non-thinking? Yes. Is it good? Is the verdict still out?
