You have to remember descriptions like this are written up to give us an idea of the beauty that awaits those who believe in, are baptized in and follow Jesus all their days while here on earth.

Since those are things that man treasurers here on earth, it is used to help describe some of the beauty there. Everyone knows those things are of high value here on earth but heaven is much more valuable than anything we could ever own here. The beauty that waits there is much better than any description we could ever imagine.

Actually it is more beautiful in heaven. Because, one of those things which this world regards as having great value, gold, is merely street pavement in heaven, to be walked on.

Heaven is supposed to be beyond imagination which means anything you think it is, isn't it.

This is just wishful thinking and delusional - while people ponder that, with their eyes open, they actually "miss" reality pass by them - Kids with short attention spans suffer with this. Ever been caught day dreaming? Ya, that's your mind going on a trip and the more one loses control of it, the better chance of losing their mind altogether.

Wishful thinking is all this is.

Yeah, and mansions too! Pretty much everything material that we can't have now. Yay! I just have to be on my best behavior until then. I can't ask questions or be critical of any way.

Wait, this sounds more like a bribe to me.

I think it is beautiful. I believe God worked very diligently to provide a heaven that we all will find beautiful.

Not at all, I am not into glitter. I am more concerned with the challanges of this world, and that people focus on handling the painful problems of this world, than dreaming of a paradise somewhere else.

That sounds like the same lie that Americans used to trick immigrants to come to America, way back when were first becoming a true nation.

If it's true it doesn't sound bad. Although, I prefer nature scenes.
