Under the ten commandments, no one is allowed to have sex, sleep with, or get a married person pregnant, etc. Then why is it ok for god to get a married woman pregnant? Am I to believe that he is above and beyond the rules? If we are created in his image, then should I be correct in assuming that he should go to hell for breaking one of his own commandments.

Bible Students and memorisers: It has come to my attention that the first written Bibles on Earth, in any language, included the phrase "Let us create man in our image, and after our likeness". Note the use of the words "us" and "our", rather than the use of the word God as a proper name, such as if God were an individual being. Do you believe there to be any truth to this claim?

Regardless of your answer to the previous question, is it possible the translation of The Bible was altered to suit the desired agenda of the Church that interpreted it, whether it be Catholic, Christian, Jewish, Mormon, or whatever?

Did the Bible's of your faith have their translation changed in the abovementioned phrase, to the use of the name of God, or words that imply God to be a solitary individual? Do you believe the new translation to be more accurate, or less accurate, than the use of the words "us" and "our"?

To tell you the truth, I'm not a "pure" Christian. I believe in a god, a spiritual being, but I have no idea who this guy is. I'm not that much different than you, and you shouldn't change your views for me. Questions I posted earlier were only written to help me understand where everyone is coming from. Don't get so worked up about it. I get offended all the time because someone tries to superimpose their idea on me, but you have to keep on going. Live life the way you want to, not the way I want you too. Just to clear some things up.

According to Islam (from what i know) Muslims can only eat meat if the animal was killed in the name of Allah, Right?

well since most of the ANimals in america are not prepared in the way that is right for muslims then they pretty much have to be vegetarian most of the time. Right?

Christians have tried to prove to me that God exists by saying that mathematicians showed that it is statistically improbable that life occurred by natural forces. They assume that because of this their god was the one that created life....Why couldn't if have been any other god? Why not Zeus, Ngai, Banaitja? Did math specify which god?

Note: Showing that something is improbable does not show that it is impossible....otherwise nobody would win the lottery.

I have heard alot of Christians say this, and I apologize in advance if I might offend anyone on this question. Why would Jesus take the blame for other people's sins? Wouldn't it be like letting someone else take the blame for your mistakes? Sincere answers only please, and if you do not have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Thank you.

The temperature of heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is the Bible, Isaiah 30:26 reads, Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days. Thus, heaven receives from the moon as much radiation as the earth does from the sun, and in addition seven times seven (forty nine) times as much as the earth does from the sun, or fifty times in all. The light we receive from the moon is one ten-thousandth of the light we receive from the sun, so we can ignore that. With these data we can compute the temperature of heaven: The radiation falling on heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation. In other words, heaven loses fifty times as much heat as the earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann fourth power law for radiation

(H/E)4 = 50

What type of things do you celebrate? I see a lot of what people assume are Christian traditions have actually come from Pagan beliefs. I guess that all goes back to when the Roman empire was trying to convert everyone to Christianity they thought it would be easier center celebrations around the Pagan "holidays". I don't know much but am interested in learning more.

in the old days when jesus was on earth, there was so much evidence of god.... many miracles happened, angels appeared to humans... etc... (that is, if the bible is true)
So, how come in present day we dont get to see all these things anymore... ?
If we dont get to see all that, how does god want us to believe the same as the people did in the past days...?

I've just asked if God might have felt lonely before He created us... and someone told me I was being disrespectuful for assigning Him a human feeling.

Would that mean that God doesn't experience any of the human feelings?

I am not trying to be disrespectful. Unless my ignorance is some kind of it.

If in fact you had freewill in heaven then you could sin, since we are not perfect beings (which also means our souls are not perfect), so therefore you could be constantly seeing a line of people getting evicted from heaven and going to the hell express.
Or does God wipe your mind clean and make everyone as zombies? I am going with you all become zombies since if you had freewill, you would also spend eternity thinking of those family members and friends who are burning in hell. That would be an eternity of mental hell that you would have to endure, which would put you in your own hell.
I am going for the zombie thing, because God could not take that chance and with freewill and freethought heaven would be depresing and sad because of those who did not make it, God would be inundated with his form # G00013, the get out of hell card, which he would have to form a sub-committee which would have religious leaders on it, so you know they can be bought.
Yeah zombies makes sense.

As a Christian, I am seeing some really true answers that I didn't really read that often months ago.
I can easily tell if an answer or question is someone wrong or not. And can tell if someone is right & has more true information.
