Many people make the mistake of believing that God forgives “little” sins such as lying, anger, and impure thoughts, but does not forgive “big” sins such as murder and adultery. This is not true. There is no sin too big that God cannot forgive it. When Jesus died on the cross, He died to pay the penalty for all of the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2). When a person places his faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, all of his sins are forgiven. That includes past, present, and future, big or small. Jesus died to pay the penalty for all of our sins, and once they are forgiven, they are all forgiven (Colossians 1:14; Acts 10:43).

He only forgives the sins you truly repent of. You can't merely have faith that god exists and therefore all sins are wiped away. faith without works is dead. In other words, you have to walk the walk AND talk the talk. You can't do one without the other.

And there are 3 things that God won't forgive. Read the Bible and you will have all your questions answered/

God forgives those sins that you confess to Him. God knows your heart. People can pray and 'say empty words' and act like they have confessed their sins and are repenting, but God looks to the heart and knows the motive of yours/my prayer. He knows if we have repented or not. If you do confess and repent (turn around), he will forgive the sin.

God does not recognize sin; God is all love, all the time, so no forgiveness is necessary from God--what is necessary is forgiveness from other people and yourself.
