According to Islam (from what i know) Muslims can only eat meat if the animal was killed in the name of Allah, Right?

well since most of the ANimals in america are not prepared in the way that is right for muslims then they pretty much have to be vegetarian most of the time. Right?

I beleive there are many Halal stores in the States. At least I've never heard any of my Muslim friends complaining about difficulties in getting any.

Saudi Arabia and other Muslim Governments have visited and made sure that some huge Salughter Houses in Australia and Newzealand have Muslims employee who slaughter the animals in Islamic way taking name of Allah. This meat is available in most Muslims meat shops in Canada, America, middle east and Europe in addition to the locally slaughtered meat by Muslims themselves. If you don't see blood in meat and Butcher says it is Halal rest assured it was slaughtered right way and is allowed to be consumed by Muslims.

Religious Jews also have their meat market known as Kosher meat. This is butchered same way as Muslims do.
Muslims buy from them also. But they do prefer the Australian meat.

I don't know but I used to work fast food and these guys would come in and order a hamburger without meat! That was the funniest thing I've ever seen bread with mayo, lettuce, tomatoe etc.

That really depends on where you live. You can get Halal meat on the East Coast. I read somewhere that if you can't get Halal meat, that if one of the People of the Book slaughters it, then it is acceptable.

today their are many places that serve halal food in american fashion such as brugers and gyros so no...it is not hard at all.

i have many places around me that serve halal food and butcher halal meat. very simple and easy to get.

we also are allowed to eat seafood that hasnt been cut in the name of Allah becaus eit is already cut such as fish. so if in a restaurant that does not serve halal we can eat seafood.

many faiths sense that pigs are a grimy animal as a results of fact of ways they consume and what they consume so as that they obstain from it. Elijah Mohammed (united states of america of islam interior the U. S.) wrote that " the pig will consume till it can't flow from the trough" with reference to why its a "grimy" meat.
