The sky is bluer, the trees are greener. People talk of heaven, but maybe we are in heaven and don't know it. - D

God gave us all freewill,Satan rejected him.

How can heaven be any better than Earth if it is subject to the same problem of free will allowing beings to choose evil?

"Liberals love to boast that they are not 'religious,' which is what one would expect to hear from the state-sanctioned religion. Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own explanation of the existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as 'religion.'"

Agree??

QUSTION TO NAPOLEON: How to make a nation great
HIS REPLY : Give me good mothers; I will give you a good nation.
VEDAS( A religious source of knowledge and inspiration in Hinduism): Mother you embody sacrifice; tolerence, and love. You command our love and respect and are worthy of worship by your progeny.
SHATPATHA BRAHMANA(A religious source of knowledge and inspiration in Hinduism): A young child has the advantage of having three masters; Both parents and a guru or acharaya; and that is how the child can get to know the knowledge of entering into; manhood or womenhood; the society; and for learning the art
IN MAHABHARATA( A religious source of knowledge and inspiration in Hinduism ): A question to Yudhishtara; What is weightier than the earth
His reply: The mother; because in the role of mother she can be linked to goddess.
ARISTOTLE: Mothers are fonder than fathers of their children; because they relate more emotionally to them than physically and thus more bonded to them

When now it's obvious that it's morally wrong? Was the Holy Spirit asleep? What happened to Christ's message of love?

I am not talking about the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

What makes you, as a Christian or an Atheist or a Buddhist, able to get through the day? I feel so empty.

In regards to politics and using Atheist reasoning, why is it o.k. to listen to a leader of a country and smile and nod but then state that listening to a holy book is wrong? Atheists are aware that many values and morals associated with Governments stem directly from Religion itself, correct? Calling a leader a "priest" or "president" doesn't really matter, you're still following what they say (Iraq war, Nazi, Republican, Fear, etc).

So, what's the difference, using your own line of logic when choosing what to believe and who to follow?

Please, do your best from using insults. I know it seems to be a thing with Atheist on here but why not try something different and prove to people you can do without it - thanks.

The evidence goes on and on, the earth is not 6000 years old, there are plants that are older than that, dna, the big bang, the more we learn, the more it becomes clear the bible was written by stupid, petty, evil men who stoned people to death and did hundreds of things in the name of god, who they say is good, but who murdered so many in the flood, etc, etc.

Don't you just get tired of it? Don't you wish there would be some evidence supporting the bible?

Christians shouldn't always turn the other cheek and ignore the attacks of secular thought, says one prominent conservative writer. They need to step out and meet the atheist critique.

The verse about false prophets. I mean, not Falwell specifically, but that whole area of preacher. Do you think the verse could be a prediction of the future corruption of Christianity that we're seeing today?

Is the public confused between the two? Should I ascertain a white person living in the West is automatically "christian" anymore than someone who has heriditary roots in the Middle East without even seeing the inside of a synagogue(or practicing a faith) as being "Jewish"?

If you were born in Israel, that makes you an Israeli, and not a Jew. If you live in the US, are a decendent of an Israeli, does that quantify as being "jewish"?
