Making all-encompasing generalizations about a people or religious group is not only ignorant on your part, but it also sets up negative opinions of what others think about you and your beliefs.
I'm not going to say that Radical Islam doesn't exist, because it does.
There is a bad side to most all religions, such as, people highjacking beliefs and doing whatever they want in "the name of God." This has been done with Christianity, as well as Islam.
But yes, there are such people as Moderate peacful Muslims, just like any other religous group...
And No, Im not making a politically correct BS statement. - I personally know someone in a Muslim family... and he is a good guy. I study for test and eat lunch with him at college.
And I know for a fact that there are many such people like him.
You don't base the actions of one bad person upon an entire race, religion, or group of people.
"Jesus said, 'Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.' "- Matthew 7:1-2
"Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgement."- John 7:24
Jesus taught us to love others, even our enemies...
And, even though what you have said is extremely ignorant... I forgive you... as God forgave me.
I am praying for you,
-Mr. Agappae

Your ignorance is not suprising. "I" am a muslimah and I do not and will not force anyone to be one if they do not want to. You see few Muslims going door to door trying to convert anyone. when you see them on the corner they offer you a publication of their literature and that is that. However, people need to know there are different sects of being a muslim. I am a sunni, there is also the nation of islam and the kurdish. Not all of them function the same and not all of each sect believe the same or feel things on the same level. Believe process information differntly and depending on their ability to rationalize or otherwise think clearly will determine what they get from what is being said or read or heard or even seen. So, dont be ignorant all your life try to be a productive part of life and not just your typical ***hole.

When christianity was new to the world, in order to become a viable religion, christians* burned the great library of Alexandria to the ground. The library contained over a million scrolls and the loss was catastrophic to humankind. The christians slaughtered many scientists and educators because science did not support christianity.* Add to that the Spanish inquisition, the Salem witch burnings and an alarming amount of violent acts in the name of JESUS, (such as abortion bombings, racial killings such as the KKK) and you try to scare me about Muslims?
I don't buy it. I know some Muslims and their religion is not about violence. There are extremists, such as the christians I mentioned and their deeds, but all religions have a "bad example".
So tout your hatred somewhere else. Bad mouthing the competition is un-appealing, something that should never be done. Just like politicians, tell me what GOOD YOU ARE and not what BAD someone else is and let me make up my own mind.
Terroristic tactics, such as you are using, are not the way to convince people of your worth, it shows quite the opposite.
Peace. (learn what it means)

I see that you have quite a mental block about this, which is just as poisonous in its way as the radical Muslims' sick point of view and belief that violence will get them what they want. However, as with any good thing, someone will twist it and ruin it--whether that be religion or something else. Don't let the idiocy of some make you insensitive to the true faith of the many. And if you're Christian, please remember what Jesus said about being struck by an enemy. Jesus also preached a religion of love, not hate--why not follow His example?

There are peaceful Muslims. There are just those small group of brain washed radicals (like in EVERY religion). Those radicals are the kind of people who don't understand that their bibles can speak metaphorically. The same kind of people who don't read ALL of their bible, they just read a small part and try to go off of the small part they just learned. Just like in the Christian Bible when Jesus says something like (not quoted correctly) "I come not of peace but with the sword", most people know He's speaking metaphorically.
Anyway, I know plenty of Muslims and none of them are radicals. Just everyday people who eat, sleep, and laugh like everyone else.

This is a joke question right. Read the Koran, It is far less violent the the bible. In the Koran, there are rules to engagement. You cannot hurt a woman a child or a tree. In medieval times when the Muslims took over a place they did not slaughter the population and they allowed the population to practice whatever faith they wanted. The Christians slaughtered and forced.
It is only now the we see the so-called 'fundamentalist'. Followers that have bastardized the faith so much that true followers of Islam are disgusted by it. Learn your history. Christian fundamentalist represent the same kind of threat in my eyes. They are just in charge right now.
BTW I am not Muslim.

Islam preaches belief in God and Muhammed. It's similar in many ways to Christianity and Judaism.
Nazism was a disorganized, hate-fueled faction that was based on the ideology of one man with a daddy-complex.
There is a massive difference between the two. Try doing a little reading next time before you try to make defective similes.

I sympathize with your drama! Obviously a very pretty, nice and clever Muslim girl dumped you, that's why you have all this hatred. I would ask for some professional help if i were you.

Paranoid much? I'll worry when there is clearly a local issue. For now, I'm not going to have my "undies in a bunch" if I have no reason for them to be...that would be pretty uncomfortable to live with every day for no reason.
