The verse about false prophets. I mean, not Falwell specifically, but that whole area of preacher. Do you think the verse could be a prediction of the future corruption of Christianity that we're seeing today?

Nope, guess again.
There are genuine false prophets, but Falwell wasn't one of them.
David Koresh
Jim Jones
Joseph Smith
Charles Russell
Muhammad
Mary Baker Eddy
Ellen G. White
etc.

These are folks who have legitimately perverted the Gospel and scriptures, teaching a salvation other than what Jesus taught and the Apostle Paul spread.

I believe we need to read verses 13-15, respectivetly here to

clearly understand the text, as believers we need to be aware of what Jesus' is saying here; that there will be those among us who do not teach the True Message of the Bible.
Not all prophets, teach the truth, as believers we need to study the Word, so that we can discern a truth from a untruth.

I didn't know Falwell. And I don't pay attention to TV Evangelists. So other than having a typical Legalistic message, and a larger appetite for political things than most other Legalists that I have heard, he could have been, but he might not have been.

Christ was well acquainted with Satan’s plot. He knew that after he finished his work on earth many more impostors would rise up to confuse and delude future generations. He warned of this when he said: “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them.” “Look out that nobody misleads you; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying: ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.” And so they have.
Everyone has to Render an Account for their own actions. Regardless.
