angles did not die for our sins. As they are spirit beings and have no flesh or blood. They could take on human form but are spirit beings created by Jesus. Jesus is the world of God christians as you already know and Jesus spoke everything in existance becasue the Father gave him that power to do so, even create the angles. so how can Jesus create himself when Jesus was never created. Christians why are they so deicieved?

how can we see the stars that are over 10000 light years away? We shouldn't be able to see such stars as the light from them would not have reached us yet. There are stars much much further away and yet we can still see those. We know light travels at a fixed speed and that nothing travels faster, so how can this be?

Some stars have been shown to 50 million light years away which mean that it takes the light 50 million years to reach us. How can we possibly see these stars if the universe is only at best 10,000 years old?

I am from another religion.
I'd be glad to know your belief about the origin of the universe.
Do you believe in a gradual creation or sudden creation?

If you want to state your opinion, fine. Feel free to do so. However, make sure that opinion doesn't make you seem like an uneducated, close-minded idiot.

Because as far as I know, Revelation was only a dream that the author of that book had. And to some of you who think the answers this question should be incredibly obvious, it's been awhile since I read the bible, and I really don't think I could slog my way through it a second time.

why do they always answer christian questions?
can't they just find something else?
or is it because they know that god lives and they are denying his power?
or they are scared they'll miss out something important?

we had a class discussion about morals and where they come from and religion came up...

so the question is...
Does religion play a vital role in morality? If so, explain why. If not, is it common sense, or basic values or etc?
if you would... even go into if we need morals or not.
Thanks...

I'm 21 years old & still I feel vary uneasy talking to them because I've always been the "good child" its not that don't believe in god I just believe in a different kind of god & a different devil. you see I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ & that god comes from the word good so in that since I believe in god but I don't believe in a man with a long white beard who judges us when we die, I believe that the word devil comes from the word evil I don't believe that their's a man who pokes you with a pitchfork if you're "bad" I believe that heaven & hell are both here on earth & life is what you make it. I want to be in heaven and I'm there right now, I've been in hell too long. I would like to stay in my heaven for a while how can I explain this to a judgmental family?

I know not all, but some blame Jews for killing Jesus. But Jesus himself was a Jew, so why would they hate Jews?
The New Testament also blames the Jews for Jesus' death. How can it give praise to Jesus, a Jew, and yet denounce the Jews?
And I don't think Jesus would have hated the Jews.

I don't mean to offend anyone, I just want to know why.
