I am sorry you feel this way.

We are not allowed to be judgmental thus I do not understand why my fellow brothers and sisters else where in the world do.

Please accept my humble apologies for their sakes.
We really do not know how to tame our tongues yet.

God Bless.

It's a Christians job to spread the word and judgement of god it's not Christians doing the judging it's gods word it seems these days Christians are being disarmed by being told to be tolerant nonjudgmental and forgiving but that's a load of sh*t because forgiveness is not to be given with out repentance, we are to have righteous judgement according to the written word of god and the bible doesn't even mention tolerants

It's not all Christians. Just enough rotton apples to spoil the bushell.

Fundmentalists - of any persuasion - feel obliged to spread their poison & dont' give wet slap about how many people are hurt in the process.... This includes the Moderates who's reputations have been blackened by the same action.

Your question should be, "Why are PEOPLE so judgemental?"

By generalizing, you're being judgemental. Of course, by TELLING you that you're generalizing, I'M being judgemental. Sigh. People are judgemental. Period. That's human nature.

Edit: Somehow, I lost what I had emailed to the asker of this question. I'll try to remember what I typed....

Can't do it. Okay. I'll start over.

Anyway, there's a difference between righteous judgement, and being judgemental. Christians are urged to judge between what's right and wrong. However, we are urged NOT to judge PEOPLE. So, it would be one thing for me to say that a person is wrong because they were having an affair on their spouse; it would be quite another if I said they were going to hell.

Keep in mind, also, that many people call themselves Christians because they believe in God, the Bible, and Jesus Christ. But it takes more than belief to be a Christian.

Not all Christian's are judgmental. The few that are consider themselves in touch with the lord and they have mistakenly taken it upon themselves to give the lords views. Only the lord knows what the lords views are. The rest of us try to live by his word as we humans understand it. And remember we are only human and we don't know everything.

Haha so let me get this straight...

You are asking why a certain group of people is judgemental?

Doesn't that make you quite the hypocrite..after all, you just made a judgement yourself like you claim they do. Think about it...

To avoid the discomforting inconvenience of being faced with looking at the hypocritical truth about themselves?

We're so judgemental because we think everything something does that doesn't meet our standards is wrong, plain and simple.

I feel so sorry that you had a bad experience with them. Those that I know are very nice people.

Because they think they are perfect. They also think that it is their job to make everyone else "Perfect Christians." So, they judge anyone with a brain as a sinner or a stupid athiest or a lost soul, because they cant comprehend that they could possibly be "not right"

its called Dogma, and its poison
