I need some hope. Can you share some of yours with me?

What makes you, as a Christian or an Atheist or a Buddhist, able to get through the day? I feel so empty.

the sun comes up-the stars shine-a baby is born-the world is beautiful-yes life can be very hard-but it is definitely worth it-i have been through so many things in my life both good and bad-cant say which one is the majority but the good outweighs the bad by a lot----hope this helps-keep smiling and enjoy the night

Jesus. God is hope! Read the fruits of the spirit of God. I know some times it is very difficult in life but look at the beauty in creation and thank God for it because there will be a time when we wont have it anymore. So enjoy it while you can. Live your days doing good and being filled with joy do what makes you happy as long as it is good. Remember though that not all things that appear good actually are. Satan will appose those who love the Lord and the closer you are to the Lord more than likely the more severe the attacks you will receive. He can oppress and cause desention. You need to recognize the fruit of his spirit or the attacks he places on people.

Sorry. I am Christian. But today, I am all tapped out. The only thing I can offer is what I do for myself. "The Lord is my shephard. I will not fear. I will trust in the Lord." Over and over. I am empty right now, no doubt about it. All I have is my faith and hope and expectation on what the Lord is going to do. He is after all, the one who sustains me and knows my need. As a God of justice first and foremost. I am happy to wait. I know he will do something. He always does and always has. I just have to be patient. And be prepared because it may not be what I thought it would be.

You can never walk the road of happiness without walking the road of sadness at an equal distance. This is why those in the wost circumstances appreciate things that those who sit in luxury think of as insignificant. Karma is a natural force that will balance out any nagativity that you are wallowing in right now. You can not compare your state with those who are currently in a better state than you, beause you will lose the proper perspective. Regardless of how you feel right now, just remember that complete mundanity and nutrality, while often craved for in times of hardship, is far worse than the experience and interatcion that come with the waxing and waning joy/sadness experience.

Well, I'm a Pagan, I guess, I believe that reality as we perceive it is only a small portion of what really exists. I am also convinced that we do not die, just our body. Just looking at nature is awesome. Or the sky. Small things too.
Getting through the day is harder, but you can have a dual experience (like the recent dual core processors;-) where you see and operate in the boring reality and have at the same time a sort of day dreaming reality going on with all the stuff you really like.

have you ever tried writing in a journal or writing poetry? It may sound lame,and I don't write anymore, but those were two things that really got me through some tough times. Just remember that whatever it is that is bothering you, even if it feels like something huge is weighing you down, I promise it wont always. I read a quote once "A happy life consists not in the absence, but in the mastery of hardships."

Many things.

I believe that it's easier to be positive than it is to be negative. I smile a lot. I talk with people. I look for the good things happening all around me.

I also pray. I study the Word of God. I share my faith with others. And, very importantly, I put my faith and trust in the love and mercy of the one true God. I am NOT ashamed of being Christian.

I have found that the more you positively interact with others, the less "hopeless" you are.

There is hope. First of all you need to know that you create your own world and your own future. As you see that you will see that life has a purpose and that purpose is for you to become who you will be for all eternity.
It is like you are the caterpillar and death will make you the butterfly.
Jesus came to make the way possible for you to become who you will be. To gain a relationship with Him you need to begin by
asking Him to speak to you. Revelation 3:20 behold I stand at the door and knock if anyone opens the door I will come in and start to relate to him.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice and I give eternal life to them...
Talk and listen.. open up the subjective part of your life.

I get up and look at the beautiful things that are right in front of me. The trees, the clouds, just whatever you're into. People try to make things so difficult when they're really not. I look inside myself when things r'nt going so good, and recall the good times. I also just count my blessings as there're so many people worse off then me. I look at what I've been blessed with and make the best of things. Always know that you're not alone!!, all of us have our bad days, tomorrow's always brighter!! Be safe, and take care of yourself, smile, and the world smiles with you!
