Thank You all for taking the time over the months to answer to all the posts here on Y!A. I'd just like to ask you each to do one thing for me. Can you post a verse to someone that the Lord has put on your heart during the course of the past few days or weeks. Some verse to encourage them or let them
know that they are in your prayers. I know for each of us we have met a fellow believers or even a gospel friend that we may feel that the Lord wants us to keep before the throne of grace. It could be one person or a few, numbers do not matter.
If you do not have a verse then maybe some words of encouragment or inspiration.
I am positive that by posting and by some of us taking the time to read we will all be touched and helped in some way. God's word does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes what it was sent out to do:)
John 1:4-5
In Him was Life and the Life was the Light of men
And the Light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not overcome it

I don't know how many of you feel the same way, but I wanted to pose a thought. Why can't Christians stop attacking atheists and atheists stop attacking Christians?? I have read so many answers where a person with one set of beliefs in antagonizing and harrassing a person with a different set of beliefs! I realize that the difference in opinions on something as controversial as religion can cause a major upset with people, but come on! We can be civil to each other! I hate when I read an answer that a Christian has given that says something to the effect of anyone who doesnt' believe in God is an idiot and needs to go to hell. How is that showing the love of God?? And atheists, why must you say that Christians are stupid for believing in a higher power? Why can't you just let them believe how they choose without mocking their beliefs? I think it's time we all stop trying to force what we believe on another person.

What are your thoughts??

I am just thinking that now we know it doesnt take intercourse to get pregnant - as a matter of fact it takes as little as seminal fluid dripping on the vagina to get pregnant. With these modern discoveries is it possible that she actually was a virgin when Yeshua was concepted?

There are secular pagans, there are atheistic pagans, but not all pagans are secular in belief. When I Q&A with Pagans it seems they are secular, though I know their belief in a diety should trump this. So to the theist pagans, why do your beliefs almost exclusively in politics and personal edicts fall in line with secularists? This is not a harrassing question, this popped in my head when I was reading the Wiccan bothered by in God we trust on US currency. Thoughtful answers appreciated.

America's founders accounted for natural rights as endowments of the Creator, grounding the claim that our rights are unalienable on the "self-evident" truth of the reality of God.

But in the atheist theory, man is simply a species of animal that happened to appear in a cosmic accident. Without a Creator, why should individual humans have unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, any more wolves, rattlesnakes, or trees?

The Vatican has hidden The Third Prophecy of Fatima (Portugal 1917 AD). In 1984 Pope John Paul 2 said, "The catastrophic nature of the third prophecy is so great that millions of lives will be lost. There is no need to panic the world over such a great loss of life". The Pope also spoke of "global tidal waves and earthquakes of a terrible magnitude." All of This Points To Comet Impact, The Coming of The Comet Planet
NASA will be successful in shattering this Comet planet, saving earth from Total Impact and the destruction of all life. Yet, earth will be hit by flaming meteor debris that sets on third of the earth aflame. (Rev:8:8-9). Also a larger chunk (Asteroid) will crash into the Ocean and cause Tidal Waves and severe flooding (exactly as Pope JP2 warned in 1984).
Thoughts?

If earth did have the un-timely event of a Major Asteroid hitting the planet and millions of people were killed, vanished, but you remained alive, would you entertain the thought that many people might of been raptured and thjat is why so many were missing OR would you be content to think many just died due to the initial hit?

"When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die"

For me it raises the question:

If democracy is about equality, then why does this quote still ring true?

My own take to answer that?
What we have is not democracy. It is a situation where our countries are run by money. The richer you are, the more say you have and the more rights you have. Is that equality?

I'll make things perfectly clear to start. I'm an Atheistic Wiccan. That means I think the gods are merely concepts, not actual beings, which as we all know is perfectly fine within Wicca as our interpretation of the gods is up to each individual Wiccan. Thats part of the beauty of Wicca.

That being said....

Wicca was created in the 50's/60's by Gerald Gardner. It did not exist before then and its a well known fact among Wiccans. Wicca is based on much older religions, such as Druidism, but that doesn't mean it is that religion. It simply is based on it (and many others).

This means that the terrible things that happened to the followers of those religions did not happen to us. Yes, we are still persecuted, and hated, and many of us will constantly hear the word "fluffy" associated with us.

There's a reason why we hear that word. Its because of this type of behavior claiming that Wiccans have been burned at the stake when we have not.

Now, we HAVE has potshots taken at us with...

This is probably going 2 sound unbelievable but it was true and althought I've told the story to a few people I've never written it on the Internet. I hope this way more people know about the wonders of God and that He really exists. When I was about 9 years old, on a Christmas eve night, me and my family were leaving my grandma's house for the night. As we were walking down the stairs from her house to go to our car, we looked up to the sky and there was a nativity scene formed in the clouds. It was perfect; Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus in the middle with His arms open and everything; exactly the same way you would see it portrayed in common plastic or clay figurines. Even a mule and an ox were on the sides. It was there for a couple of minutes and then it vanished. It was definitely the MOST amazing thing I've ever seen in my whole life. Bringing this memory back to my mind reassures me He exists, and makes my faith stronger in times of doubt.Has anything like this occurred to anyone?
