Organized religion is an abomination to the Lord! Thankfully Jesus didn't come to establish religion but rather to bridge the gap between man and God. There is a very distinct difference between the two. Religion is man's way of trying to put things right with God by their works. Christianity is God coming down to man and putting things right.
Organized religion would be largely responsible for sending people to hell because is misses the point that Jesus made. Organized religion always involves the observance of rites and works which are dictated to the followers of that religion. These observances are carried out because their religion tells them that they must be. Not so says the Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9 blows away the concept of works and organized religion.
Many "religions" today are nothing but a money making racket and those who allow themselves to be intimidated by their leaders have no one but themselves to blame. The Bible is available to everyone and it is up to the individual to search the Scriptures and find out the real truth for themselves. A good example of organized religion would be the Catholic church. The Lord has declared it an abomination and will destroy it during the tribulation for the reasons given in Revelation Ch.17v19

Well, obviously any large group has its share of people who are there to make some money off of it...and Time Magazine just published an article in which James Dobson and other members of the religious right are contemplating supporting a third-party candidate in 2008 for the American presidency should Rudy Guliani get the Republican nomination. So yeah, money and politics are definitely a large part of major organized religion.

Mmm. sort of yeah. Some religions are and others aren't. Buddhism for example... not corrupt. I happen to think politics is corrupt with power, religion, money.
Hmm.. funny... church and state?

Why should i explain to you?

some of it is and some of it isn't---I have found, just like the Apostles, that not everybody is of the same mindset but, that doesn't negate the message. Was what Jesus taught no good because Judas was bad? Jesus organized his religion didn't he?
