This is probably going 2 sound unbelievable but it was true and althought I've told the story to a few people I've never written it on the Internet. I hope this way more people know about the wonders of God and that He really exists. When I was about 9 years old, on a Christmas eve night, me and my family were leaving my grandma's house for the night. As we were walking down the stairs from her house to go to our car, we looked up to the sky and there was a nativity scene formed in the clouds. It was perfect; Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus in the middle with His arms open and everything; exactly the same way you would see it portrayed in common plastic or clay figurines. Even a mule and an ox were on the sides. It was there for a couple of minutes and then it vanished. It was definitely the MOST amazing thing I've ever seen in my whole life. Bringing this memory back to my mind reassures me He exists, and makes my faith stronger in times of doubt.Has anything like this occurred to anyone?

For all those saying my eyes can make things up...there was 5 more people with me, and we all saw it... ;o) So sorry to dissapoint you but I wasn't the only one...and I tell this to everyone because it is a TESTIMONY...and the Bible says to share our testimony with our brothers and sisters, just like the apostles did... :o)

That is a really cool and amazing story! I have had signs from God that he exists as well. Actually just a few weeks ago i was outside looking at the stars with my man and we saw this bright white flash in the sky. It was so beautiful and looked like a light got turned on then off. It definitely was not a star. I truly think the signs are everywhere, we just have to be open to seeing them. People who do not believe in God will not have enough faith to see the signs and even those of us who do will miss them sometimes. Things like that can always be interpreted as "just clouds" but everything happens for a reason and there are no coincidences :) That is really a special memory that you can hold onto forever.

I think that you are incredibly fortunate that you had the opportunity to have such a faith-inspiring experience. I do think that the content of your experience is amazingly rare though. It's my belief that God would choose to demonstrate his presence subtly in general. Otherwise where is the challenge in believing. I'd imagine that a considerable majority of individuals would believe in God if they woke up one morning with the words ' I do exist. I do see all. And you better wise-up. - Love, God' scrolled in black across the morning sky (however, I'm sure there would still be a fair share of non-believers even yet) but that would have nothing to do with faith then. I think the true test of faith is being willing to find God's influence in everything. In the pretty flower that brightens your day or the rare summer breeze that cools the heat. I'd like to believe that God shows us he is there constantly we just have to be willing to pay attention.

The Bible recognises the existence of the Canaanite god Ba'al in several places. The truth is that Christian monotheism originated in the deserts of Egypt which was formerly Polytheist. Hence the early followers were on very close guard for the old influences. In later times the Egyptian ideas were tempered with the ideas of Zoroastrianism with its bi-polar right/wrong mentality which remains the lynchpin of Christian morality to this day. Before that it was simple obedience hence Commandments, Deuteronomy etc.

Thanks for sharing! I've had many things happen but I'll share one in particular.
Years ago,my family and I moved to a new city and started attending a new church. Every Sunday they asked if they could "pray" for any 1st time visitors. On my first Sunday, I said "yes" and the pastor and a small group of other believers began praying for me. Then they took turns prophesying over me and the things they spoke about were things that only God and I knew about. They told me some of the secrets of my heart; somethings that were going to happen to me; and some things that God wanted me to address in my life. It was amazing!! I've never been so encouraged in my life! It wasn't "heavy" or with a condemning tone or anything like that. It was very uplifting, yet their words went right to my core! Talk about knowing God's will for your life! It made me realize that God really knows everything that's going on in our lives and He really does care!!
I've since seen the things prophesied over me come to pass, just as they spoke it. And I've received numerous prophetic words throughout the years from different people in other churches and places that don't know me at all or what had been spoken over me before and some of the very same subjects were repeated!! God does speak today, through His Written Word and through His people.
These people who God used to speak to me were not weird, wacky, "super-spiritual" people but people who loved the Lord and were balanced and down to earth. It also made me realize that you don't have to be strange to hear God's voice.

Well some will call this coincidence but..
When I was 12 years old, my mother was going down the road with meand my 10 year old brother, we was crossing a railroad track on an old country road as we normally do. Now this track was never seen used, I think it was a detour or something because the real track ran along side of the road on a mountain of rocks, this one was flat with the road where you didn't have to reduce speed.
Well there was no lights going but my mother caught a train comming at us out of the corner of her eye, if she had slamed on her breaks we probably would have died, but she punched the acceleraiter and we made it through. I mean there wasn't even a horn blown!
Just as we passed it and we where shaken, my brother open up one of those bazooka joe bubble gum, they have little comics in them with a fortune at the bottom. And his read "Fortune - Angels are watching over you"

I once fell from an airplane, and my body was totally obliterated when it struck the ground. There was no piece larger than a dime remaining, and the doctors all said that I had less than a one in ten thousand chance of recovery. But my family and friends prayed for me, and I was up and walking in a week, and today I'm totally healed!

When ever someone comes up with a story like this, you have to ask yourself what is the Biblical meaning.
First, we are never told to celebrate Jesus birthday in the Bible as Christians.
There are many cults that preach the same thing you are believing. Do not worship the signs, worship Jesus. Be careful in what you belive. We are not told to go seeking after this things.

Yes, actually He has! About two years ago I was diagnosed with diabetes. And last year, my eyesight started getting really bad, to the point that I would go to the eyedoctor and my eyes would worsen so quickly that getting glasses was impossible, the prescription would change weekly. I was at church one Thursday evening and I could not read at all everything was blurry. I asked God to please let me be able to see clearer and not lose my eyesight. About a week later, i woke up and my eye sight was perfect again. I went to the eye doctor and they couldn't believe that I didn't even need glasses at all. I am so thankful to Jesus for restoring my eyesight.

Thank you for sharing. The Bible tells us there would be signs everywhere.
I have to smile at the naysayers for they are going to get their chance to meet the Lord. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord.
I was instantly healed after prayer for a high fever. I was very sick and my grandmother prayed for me. My fever ended instantly and I ran outside and played with my friends that had come over to visit me. I was 10 years old

When I was about eight I was walking out of my house to the bus stop and I saw a pair of jeans wlking down the street. No body, no legs, just jeans walking. Seriously. Was it your god, my imagination, a ghost or something else?
