Thank You all for taking the time over the months to answer to all the posts here on Y!A. I'd just like to ask you each to do one thing for me. Can you post a verse to someone that the Lord has put on your heart during the course of the past few days or weeks. Some verse to encourage them or let them
know that they are in your prayers. I know for each of us we have met a fellow believers or even a gospel friend that we may feel that the Lord wants us to keep before the throne of grace. It could be one person or a few, numbers do not matter.
If you do not have a verse then maybe some words of encouragment or inspiration.
I am positive that by posting and by some of us taking the time to read we will all be touched and helped in some way. God's word does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes what it was sent out to do:)
John 1:4-5
In Him was Life and the Life was the Light of men
And the Light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not overcome it

These words are always inspiring for those who take it to heart:
Philippians 2
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

18 For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

For all my brothers and sisters in Christ who come to YA and share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that we may lead others to the salvation that Christ offers all.

Romans 8:39

"Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

1st Corinthians 6:19-20 Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; He bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory.

Someone hurt another physically - so she came to me, believing she was now physically nothing in this world anymore.

We all must remember - We are HIS temple - and He does not inhabit worthless things. HE sees us as WORTHY.

Peace.

"But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." - 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

That verse has helped me through some trying times.

God bless!

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
The evidence of my faith is not seen. That does not mean that it isn't working. Faith has substance. I have seen a lot of people who get discouraged when things aren't going their way. It is hard to "keep the faith" if you do not keep this verse in mind.

Sandy I have been inspired by your thoughtful posts and words of encouragement to all who log on to your site.

Ellen White, a favorite writer of mine and one of the most prolific inspirational writers in history said in her book "Steps to Christ" ---"When the love of Christ is enshrined in the heart, like sweet fragrance it cannot be hidden. Its holy influence will be felt by all with whom we come in contact. The spirit of Christ in the heart is like a spring in the desert, flowing to refresh all and making those who are ready to perish, eager to drink of the water of life".

Note: Matthew 5:16 (Let your light shine)

Daniel 2:20-23

"Praise be to the name of God forever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you..."
