would He drive a golf cart on city streets, like most of the old, insane people do over there? Would his golf cart have ridiculously oversized tires, like for romping over stuff? Would it be legal for Him to drive on the sidewalks also, since He's, ya know, Jesus and all?

What is your denomination, if any, and does your church specifically have a ministry for helping the poor, or orphans, or widows in need, or the needy in general?

How are all of our useful organs developed? How would one survive if our organs where in some transitional stage? How useful would half a lung, heart, kidney or even an eye be to us? How does such extremely complex organs evolve? Isn't this a wonderful sign of creation? I would prefer a smart and logical awswer, keeping in mind the complexity of these organs...

At what age do children begin to be accountable for their own sins? Can an infant sin? If a 3 year old says she saw a monster (clearly a lie) is that a sin? Just curious what others believe.

they finally showed up at my door. For years I have planed what I would say to them, making them justify why they believe this or that, but I didn't do that. Instead I told them that I respected what THEY choose to believe and just would like them to respect what I choose to believe. They thanked me for my honesty and left. I just find it so amazing that if we just "respected" what others want to believe and not push our beliefs down their throat, I think it would be a start in all of us getting along. What do you think?

Atheists claim to be more "intelligent" than christians, but both have the same habit of on average throwing away 250 pounds of trash a year each...

The most annoying thing are the hypocritical Atheists and Christians that love to tell you what you should do to make this world a better place... BUT THESE ARE THE SAME ******* THAT DRIVE HUMMERS, POUR GASOLINE INTO NEARBY STREAMS AND RIVERS, AND BURN OLD CAR TIRES TO WARM THEIR OWN FAT-A-S-S-E-S DURING THE WINTER...

WHY IS THAT???

Why does everyone else not care... as for the Christians I suppose they believe God will clean up their messes... so what's the Atheists excuse??? What about muslims, they don't care what they do to the environment... as long as they make a buck doing it!!!

Last but not least, why can't everybody just go to HELL???

I know that I can, but I want to hear everyone's personal opinion on it. Is it possible for you to believe that God (or whichever deity you pray to) put a process like evolution in place to help us survive an ever-changing world? Is it possible (in the Christian tradition) that the Adam and Eve story is just an analogy for humans emerging through the evolutionary process? Why or why not?

I think it does. I think everything is something we learn from....

From life changing events like a death, or the smaller things like falling over.

Don't you believe it too?!

So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed."
To any normal person, this sounds very much like the script of a gruesome horror film. It sounds like some sort of revolting satanic ritual. It definitely does not sound like the words of the all-loving creator of the universe.

The dictionary describes cannibalism in the following way:

The usually ritualistic eating of human flesh by a human being

What Jesus is demanding is cannibalism.

If you are a Christian, the two questions you may be asking yourself right now are:

1. Why in the world am I, as a sane individual, participating in ritualistic cannibalism? How in the world did I stoop to this point?

2. Why would an all-powerful, all-loving God demand that I do this?

What goes on, specifically, at the Sunday service. If I show up, can I just sit in the back and watch without someone coming up and doing the meet-and-greet or trying to sell me on the church? What sort of things are talked about by the minister? What kind of interaction is expected of people in the congregation.

No need to cut and past wikipedia or other sites. I have already reasearched it and get the basic gist of the religion. What I want are details from people who have actually been to a service - give me examples, and anecdotes please.

Much obliged.

Then why did he create animals that are homosexuals? These animals don't have choices over who they are attracted to, so obviously God designed them to be gay.

Why?

Do you think God thinks homosexuality is fine in the natural world, just not for humans? Did he give some homosexual urges just to especially test them?

Some entire species of lizards are only female and have sex with each other and give birth without males.

How do you reconcile these gay animals with the Noah's Ark story?

I'm sure this question has been asked, but what's YOUR justification?

And yes, I know a lot of you don't believe in eternal torment (or even God for that matter) but for those of you who do, how can you justify belief, even LOVE for such a MONSTER? Could God just not resist? He couldn't think of any other way to fulfill his "plan" without burning me in Hell forever? God is just? It sure doesn't seem that way, but how do YOU justify a maniac for a deity?

Sorry, that was supposed to be a lot shorter. :P

for the atheists.

could we define that faith as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen?

If not, what definition would you use?

((I do not personally believe atheism requires faith, but I'm asking those who do))

Especially the Old Testament? Are you really Christians? Because the way I was taught, one of Jesus' most important goals was to stop hate.
