Some study said that many more people are born "intersex" or neither boy nor girl, than we thought before. There were also findings about gay men's brains being unique. Does this change religious peoples' feelings about homosexuality?

Help! I began reading the Harry Potter series of books, and now I believe that a relationship with Lucifer is the only way I can feel whole inside. I know how society feels about Him so I'm kind of worried about it. What should I do?!?!

You may quote other scriptures but please do not ignore Mark 16:16. I want you to deal with Mark 16:16, thanks.

Is there anyway to understand this verse's teaching about salvation and exclude baptism?

Eve said that Seth would replace Abel so she knew that Abel had to be replaced. At this point Abel was dead. Cain had left and god gave up. So Adam moved in with Eve.
The thing that is self evident is that people who believe in "Jesus" are dieing left and right. The nearby cemetary full of dead Christians is the reality of your religion. Play Jesus all you want to. It will get you nothing.

Ok you guys are all about facts and scientific evidence right? What you want is proof. Well if you do, why are you contradicting yourselves? Remember the Redi experiment? He proved that living matter CAN'T come from nonliving matter. Now somewhere along the line, someone disproved him or found some other facts or what happened? was he disproven? How is evolution true if he proved that it can't be? I don't want anyone who is just going to ramble on on how stupid I am or say "Evolution has been proven many times" I want solid evidence of evolution or how this guy was disproven.

Why do some disguise their anti-Catholic bigotry behind pedophilia jokes? It is not a laughing matter. And let me tell you a few things:
1) The highest rate of pedophilia crimes happen within families (step-fathers, uncles, etc.). So why don't the jokesters in Y/A complain about step-fathers or uncles? Because they are not really concerned about the issue, they just want to bash Catholics.

2) The percentage of priests who have been accused (not convicted, just accused) of child abuse, falls below the national average. So why don't the haters in Y/A complain about the problem in America in general? Because they are not really concerned about the issue, they just want to bash Catholics.
3) Why are there not similar problems among priests in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East? I mean, if "celibacy" is making them do it (as some claim) or if it a uniquely Catholic problem (which it is not) then it would be happening everywhere, wouldn't it?

Death brought about through war, execution or suicide bombing, it doesn’t matter. God gives no one the right to take another life.

Think about this: Any life you take is a soul, according to your belief systems, that can no longer be converted or redeemed or saved spiritually. If you take another person’s life aren’t you depriving God of His right to be able to redeem and convert and save that soul?

Except in extreme cases of self-defense, can you justify taking another person’s life? Can you say with a clear conscience that the life you take would never have accepted your God anyway?

Do you think your God will be pleased that you deprived Him of His right to redeem a soul? Or haven't you been able to understand that you can't convert a dead person?

Why are religious people so crazy?

I was reading how a Buddhist learns to hate the opinions of someone without hating the individual who holds those opinions.
How is this possible?
Aren't a person's opinions and beliefs the very thing that makes them what they are?
If a neo-nazi belives that someone should die simply because of the colour of his skin or his religion how does anyone ever reach a point of being able to see beyond the bigotry and hatred?

Christians do this quite often. Probably because they think that's what Jesus would say or would want them to say. It's a nice bit of role playing.

Personally i find it to be rather disappointing. I believe they are devaluing love by using the word where it does not belong. I also believe they are being deceptive... trying to trick me into a false sense of security so that I will listen to whatever garbage they have to say.

Christians will defend this abuse of the word love by offering their religious definitions of love, such as the type of love that does not require the building of a relationship before it can exist. However, their understanding of love seems to be quite lacking when they can defend and serve a god who punishes people for eternity because of a decision he disagrees with. If this creature is willing to give me an infinte punishment for a finite "crime", it does not know the same love that I know for my family.

Are Christians and Catholics allowed to watch Harry Potter?
Doesnt it sort of suggest that Withes and Wizards which has always been condemned by their churches can exsist?
Before people start to say "its only a film" can I just point out the Bible is just a book to some people.
Surely watching things that are not allowed by your religion is a sin..no????

2 Tim 3:1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

We always hear about Muslim women covering up and I think most people know there is mention of covering in the Bible also.

So what do you think? Should a woman cover herself? How and why?

Thank you.
