Many will bear witness & testify of Jesus Christ
Many will bear witness & testify of modern prophets from Joseph Smith to Gordon B Hinckley
LDS will be encouraged to search, ponder and pray and refrain from the wicked influences of the world.
I'm especially looking forward to hearing from Elder Bednar again - I really enjoy his talks. And I'm assuming we will see the 1st Presidency filled, and a new apostle called.

They will cover a range of topics over the two days. Many have already been mentioned. By the way, have any of you angry Mormon haters here ever taken the time to watch or listen to any of the conferences? Why not give it a shot and see what we're really about. C'mon! I dare ya! The sermons are wonderful and the music is just heavenly.

Kids are funny people sometimes. :) Sounds like you know what are good things to do- so try and get support from your friends and family to help you do those things. I don't think wearing pants on temple square is too big a deal, but what do i know? I'm not a Utah mormon. :) Anyway, just try to choose the right- do your honest best.

Nothing is assigned. The general authorities speak on what they feel is necessary. Usual topics that come up in *most* conferences are repentance and the atonement, marriage and family, pornography, honest and so on. There are a total of 8 hours of the general sessions so it's enough time to hit on a lot of topics.

Faith in Jesus, atonement, Jesus Christ head of church, repentance, baptism, Holy Ghost, tithing, BOM, First Vision, RS, Primary children, Pornography, gambling, priesthood authority, ym, yw, ysa, sa, celestial marriage and covenants, temple attendance, etc
Also new temples and new presidency member/new apostle.
