As what I've learned, they said that following 10 Commandments is hard to do, when Christ came He gave us 2 Commandments to follow.

What is your definition of hope?
For example: Have you ever said
"I hope" my children will be ok
"I hope" my children grow up happy and healthy
"I hope" I get this job or "I hope" I get that job
"I hope" I get there on time
"I hope" I have enough money
"I hope" I bought enough food
"I hope"
"I hope"
"I hope"

If you're honest, you know you have said the words "I hope"
If you can get the things on your own or make these things happen on your own, why say the words "I hope"
Who are you hoping to?
I know what hope is....hoping is a form of pray whether you realize it or not. So why say "I hope" if you don't believe?

I don't want any rude and nasty comments. If you're going to be rude and nasty, don't answer.

Hi,

I'm trying to look for ideal spiritual resources, with topics on just about anything. I'd like a frequently updated one, not those which stopped caring about "modernizing" Christianity a long time ago. I'm not so tech-savvy, so can anyone help? Thanks

even if you didn't believe, you had to go to church every Sunday, read the Bible (if you haven't read it already), and act like you believe?

Not that we'd want you fakers and Judases to your own kind...
but hypothetically, what would it take?

Do you feel really loved by everyone in your life?

Can anyone love you exactly like you desire to be loved so you would be completely satisfied with them as well as life?

I was reading an Article on Witchvox and someone said that; and i quot "quantum physics allows a lot of breathing room for the concept of magick. Despite the many scientists who would erupt in anger of such an idea."

Now i'm not going to pretend i know anything about Quantum Physics, in fact this was the first i heard of it.

Thanks for your help!

There is no man on earth who knows or understands all things, so an atheist cannot claim as definite that God does not exist. SO WHAT IF, after dying as an unbeliever, s/he finds out that what God said through His Book (i.e., Bible) is all true? Forget arguing with me or any other believer on this site, or anywhere else. I’m talking about a situation between just you and God alone. You may be tempted to answer that this is a mute question because your stance is that God doesn’t exist. But WHAT IF you were wrong, which is very possible since you don’t know everything? What will you say to God then? What will happen to you then?

i dont believe christians or pagans or goth know what it means to truly have a gift of prophecy. In my opinion, it is NOT telling the future.

Set aside the rejection of "organized religion" for a moment, and focus on your decision to believe that there is no God. I will accept there is no hard evidence of the existence of God. I personally choose to believe in God because I recognize that my faith in God has a powerful positive effect in my life. For that reason I choose to believe in my own conception of God and wonder why others would choose to reject God and not take this option.

My reasoning - Atheism delivers no emotional payload - it doesn’t unite people, doesn’t calm our mortal fears, doesn't promise justice or peace in the afterlife, doesn’t give instruction on values, doesn’t give meaning to life, doesn't give you someone to thank, nor someone to ask for forgiveness.

Don't you ever just have a powerful emotional experience and want to thank the lord for the gift of life? If your an atheist, who do you thank?

Also, what if you were born a slave, would you choose to believe in God then?

This was the jews holy book for about 1000 years before jesus came along and the christians tried to tell the jews what the book actually said. There was a reason almost all jews laughed at and completely rejected the notion of jesus being the messiah. The jews believed jesus was the messiah like christians believe david koresh was the second coming.

Japan, Iraq...etc.

The only reason you are christian is because you have been brainwashed.
and don't respond to this by quoting the bible.
the bible is just something some people made up a long time ago.
you can't back up the bible with the bible....

The Bible says David wanted to marry the Daughter of Saul.

Saul tells him to bring 100 PENIS foreskins as a token.

David kills 200 Philistines and brings their Penile foreskins to Saul as dowry for his first wife (Saul's daughter Michal).

18:27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

People like Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins argue that Christianity has a detrimental effect on social policy and scientific progress. No one would suggest silencing religious people's opinions, but is "PC" sensitivity toward others' beliefs an impediment to real dialogue? I don't mean mockery, but shouldn't we be blunt and tell Christians (and other religious folks) their beliefs are unfounded?
