Japan, Iraq...etc.

The only reason you are christian is because you have been brainwashed.
and don't respond to this by quoting the bible.
the bible is just something some people made up a long time ago.
you can't back up the bible with the bible....

I wouldn't say people are brainwashed...just uneducated on the complexities of other faith systems. I've always found religions to be fascinating and through my own research, I went from being a Catholic to a Pagan to now a happy convert to Hinduism.
To reply to some of the other posts...yes, sure there are Christians in other countries, but there are many (esp in India) who were coerced to convert not out of "Christian love" but just for the sheer numbers game. They feed the hungry Indians ONLY after they've agreed to convert. Then these Christians with their "love" leave to go off to find others to coerce to convert, leaving the Indians hungry again...

The Word of God is written in the Bible. He used people to write His message by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.I wasn't brainwashed by the Bible, instead it changed my life and made me glad;I am full of hope and oppurtunity now. Wherever i was born, I could still be a Christian belong to Christ. God owns everything. Wherever the place I recognized ang accepted Jesus, I would still belong to Him because Jesus died for the world. I do believe that God exists and His Word can never be wrong. Human has only limited knowledge. Even the science can't explain it all. I know there is an Absolute Being who created everything and knows everything--He is God.

Yes I do. Do you feel that you would be less of an idiot if you were born somewhere else?
For the record... I have met Christians in Iraq. I went to church with Iraqi's who moved to Europe at the start of the war there. My friend just spent 3 months in Asia and he said there were surprising amounts of Christians there.

You question is retarded for starters. You are asking Christian to respond to a question without referencing their source of their beliefs? Just because you don't believe in the bible doesn't not mean it isn't the word of God. Its like asking a scientist to respond to a question without citing and lab results or proved theory. Try asking a question people care about and can honestly answer.

yes

and i'll tell you a true story that took place in china

they were not allowed to worship god at all, whenever you were found praying, singing or reading your bible they'll lock you up in jail/can even be killed.

because with god all things are possible
even though it was not allowed there were people who still continued prasing god.

there was this man who was happily married with his wife and he never wanted to see any physician
that year his wife suggested that they go for a check up.and somehow she managed to convince him and they went. now the doctor discoverd that he had cancer all over the stomach and there was nothing they could do to help because it was worse and that was left for him was to die.

now this guy came to the point where he couldn't walk or do anything. and there were this ladies two ladies who always sang about the word "bible" and this man invited them in and said to them i was to know about this jesus you always sing about. this ladies told him all they could and this guy said to them i want to accept this jesus please help me and the made a salvation prayer with him and then he said to them:" i heard you talking about baptizim i want to be baptized.
please note it was winter and they took him to the river and it was frizzed they had to open a hole for him to be baptized.now they put him i the water and somehow he dissapeared for a few minutes and everybody thought he had died. later on he came out and he was heald. and note that when this ladies asked were praying everybody closed their eyes without being taught.

you won't understand what i'm talking about, but i pray that god will keep you to see things change completely in this countries.
god is real i have see it with my life, if i'm bein brain washed i'ts good because it's working for me.
nothing makes sense about GOD my friend.

But in china, you might be a Confucianist; in India, a Hinduist; in Japan, a Buddhist; in Iraq, a Muslim...
That's our world, the religions are just everywhere.

Wow, I'v been brainwashed? Christianity is a choice, nobody forces me to know more than you. I don't think i'm the one lost in sex, drugs, technology, and politics. We'll just have to see when the end comes. It does'nt say that you're an idiot in the Bible, does it?

Yes. I think I still would. Should one be born in any of these countries, eventually, one would still choose by oneself the religion (or non-religion) one wants.

In my case, I would choose Christianity -- because the core teaching is love. Buddhism teaches compassion. Islam teaches submission. And Christianity teaches love -- all of them are great values. But my personal preference is love.

So to anyone -- regardless of their place of birth, if they choose love --- well, I guess their choice of religion, or mode of spirituality will be Christianity.

The same argument goes to the other religions I guess -- it's a matter of what value or virture you put greatest emphasis.

Peace and Love.

I wouldn't say "brainwashed". I prefer "inculcated". It's more accurate, and doesn't put people on the defensive.

But you are correct that it is very telling that the number one indicator of a person's religion, by a large measure, is the religion of his or her parents.

Christians think that the Indians and the Chinese will inevitably go to hell. They are more deluded than the Nazis were in their Messianic complex.
