When god incarnates as human he brings with him some Kalaas (divine light)...the amount of kalaa defines the greatness of an avataar.

shri Krishna was the only avtaar who was 16 kalaa complete...means he was awakened as God, as Brahmm and as human all simultaneously...

we humans are also known by the kalaas we possess!! the more the kalaas...the more awakened we are.

Yes. All religions are compatible at the core level as they believe in an all powerful God and uphold virtues, but disagree over some hypotheses. Even etymologically, "dio" is very close to "dev". Your question made for an interesting reading, but I would like to make the following observations - Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu - one of the 10 in every time cycle . Vishnu is one of the trinity that creates, runs and destroys the universe cyclically. Rama and Buddha were also among the Avatars. They are divine, yet not "ultimate" Gods , although compared to humans, they may be. God or ParamBrahm is sought by the trinity. The interesting point is that several people believe there are considerable similarities between the 10th (as yet un manifested) Avatar known as Kalaki and Jesus - It is said - "Kalaki will be born in the mountain ranges to the north to a virgin mother. He will be unlike the previous avatars. He is depicted riding a horse and holding a sword. But He will preach peace and die while doing so. The modern age calender will be named after him (Kaliyug)"....[or Anno Domini....?] Even those Hindus that do not see the similarities, do not refuse to accept him as a God. They may not concur with him being the only one, though. The user that said that Krishna predates Jesus is right. But it is not by a few hundred years, but a couple of thousand.Complete devotion to Christ is seen as "bhakti-yoga" by the Hindus, and they definitely do not grudge that. The basic philosophy of re-incarnation, Karma, and no concept of "Satan" - are some of the basic differences in the two faiths, though. Ooops: You are forgetting that proselytizing is not part of Hinduism at all, but rather of christianity. I have with me at this very moment, fliers that use misquoted Hindu religious texts and mythology grossly out of context to support converting to Chritianity !!!! btw, I am not Hindu, but a self student of world philosophies.

Krishna is the incarnation during which Hindu holy scripture Bhagavadgita was preached. Other incarnations had a definite purpose like Tortoise or Koorma was to take the load of a mountain Mathara for churning the ocean of milk.
Many people in recent times compared Lord Vishnu`s incarnations with stages of human evolution. Fish ,Tortoise,Hog,Half man Half lion , Short Human,Fighting Man,Peace loving Ram , and Krishna the Ruler, the Preacher,The Romantic Hero, the Decisive Benefactor,a Warrior and the Protector all in one.

Krishna is the Consciousness of Vishnu and Shiva in Brahman, this alone would make Him Supreme among Beings, but in communicating that Consciousness and drawing others into it He is Complete. Rama, male and female entire.
[edit: I agree with Muthu S and Jayasri devi dasi as it is all within the Bhagavad Gita. Krishna is Ram and Brahmana, indeed the many we see are One. It is compassion that divides the Head, giving rise to Creation in the Vedas and purannas.]

As Hindu , we guided by Srimad Bhagbat GITA , Srimadbhagbatam, Upanisad and so many religious books. In each of these, KRISHNA has been described as the ULTIMATE, In Srimad GITA. Lord Krishna described himself as the ULTIMATE. In no other HINDU literature or any religious literature any body claimed any other else as the ultimate. Srimad Bhagbat Gita is like the mother to the HINDUS and like mother identifies the son about his FATHER, here Srimad Gita identifies KRISHNA as the ULTIMATE.
