I've never been to temple or a mosque, but at the Baptist Church I go to we have dinners cooked by little gray church ladies and i trust their cleanliness.
All food and drink comes from God but it is up to the person to be clean in preparing food.

The one you call eatables.. are made by using good quality products... as it is made by heart and people workign over there makes it by keeping the concept of presenting good food to the god too.... so that meal till the make is very hygenic as many ingredients are involved in that meal and good to eat... but when it is distributed, then there may be chances of it spoiling...
