How do I deal with a racist white guy who hates muslims at school?

ok so theres this guy in my german class, who, i dont know why hates muslims, and hes always tryin to insult me in some way, i cant fight him becos im fasting, and hes like always tellin me to go blow my self up and stuff, how am i supposed to deal with a loser like this? he really offends me somtims and im realy hurt, can anyone help me out here?

I'm really sorry you're having this horrible problem.

I'm not Muslim, but I am Jewish and I went to a mixed faith school; I also was bullied because of my religion, so though you and I are of different faiths, I DO know how you feel.

It's hard to know the best way to deal with the bully. Sometimes you can just ignore these people and then they get bored, and stop.

Other times, you can even make a joke and this shuts them up, if you can say something that makes others laugh at the bully!!

Most importantly, remember it's his problem, not yours. You are not doing anything wrong; this other guy in your German class is ignorant and spiteful and he should be ashamed of himself.

So: hold your head up HIGH and feel sorry for him that he's so stupid, OK?

I'm a Pagan, but I want to tell you that you do NOT have to put up with this crap, Hon. There are laws that are supposed to deal with this type of thing. You have the right to be in school without being harrassed: everyone does.
Have you spoken to the teacher about this? If you have---and nothing was done---then I would suggest that your family speak with an attourney. You would be well within your rights to file a lawsuit against your school for not providing you with an environment in which you can peacefully learn.
Grrr! I just DESPISE people like the jerk who's hassling you! It's all well and good for people to say "Ignore him", but the point is that it shouldn't be happening in the first place. Good luck to you!

I'm sorry that someone is exercising hatred towards you because of their ignorance.
Ignore him, as long as he doesn't put a hand on you, ignore him. Don't let anyone rattle you up, don't lose self-control over his ignorance. Be the bigger person and don't let him get to you. Just look at it this way... If he feels the need to put you down, it is because he doesn't think much of himself that he has to make you feel bad, to make himself feel better. I feel sorry for people like him, that stoop to stereotypical behavior because they lack knowledge and confidence and self esteem. Anyone who is comfortable in their own skin, wouldn't stoop to his level, so ignore him. You can rise above the hate, but losing control and yielding to his ignorance will only bring you to his level.

Ignore the best to your ability. But seriously, it's hard to do that when you want to send them to the moon. So, i would suggest telling a teacher. I got bullied on the bus once, and i didn't even bother ignoring it, because i know i wouldn't be able to. So i jus told the teacher, and she gave him In School Suspension. (the consequences range from Suspension to Expulsion) You shouldn't have to deal with this alone.. besides, Racism isn't a petty little issue these days..

You simply present the problem to teacher/head of school. What he does is illegal, and he should be expelled from that school. Don't fight back though - that wont help you, even though it is in defense and Allah allows defense. Choosing the peaceful way is always more fruitful.

If the guy does not stop after being talked to by teachers/administrator then go to the police and file a complaint for harassment.

Let someone else deal with it. Tell your counselor or principal directly about it. You don't want to break your fast to an insignificant and petty person like this trash guy.

Don't attempt to deal with it yourself. Expose his hate so that others can take note. Let your teacher, counselor or principal know about it. They will definitely not tolerate it.

Take the high road. I assume you've told him not all Muslims are suicide bombers. Some bullies will strike out at any target they see fit. I wish there were something you could do, but unfortunately it's just part of growing up.

talk to you instructor...if he/she doesn't help then go to your school's counselor and ask he/she on advice on how to handle this situations w/out disrupting other students and w/out making you look like the bad person...i know it can be frustrating and hurtful, but try to do this the right way...and have your teachers and your school's counselor on your side...
