I think unbelievers have a hard time accepting they will be "forced" to do anything. Their mentality is "live for today and get what you can". These people will readily accept the "Mark of the Beast", because they and/or their children will be hungry and they will do anything to survive during the 7 year tribulation period. As for a one world government, those who are looking for it will not be disappointed when the antichrist, who will later be indwelt by satan himself, takes over. They will be celebrating and giving gifts to each other because they would rather believe a lie than the truth.

It's complete nonsense.
First, the State Government of California BANNED companies from planting the chip. That doesn't seem to me to be heading us closer to a one-world government.
Second, of course this "mark of the beast" idea appears in the New Testament. People have ALWAYS been scared of being conquered and having their identities taken away or superseded by something more powerful.

Dear spare-me,
There is no mention of an embedded chip in the new testament. You are thinking of "the phantom menace" by George Lucas.

Considering Chrsitianity is the largest religion in the world... with more Politicians using that Religion to get Power than any other (in the free world).... just what do you think this "one world Gov't" is going to be????? Do you honestly think some minority group is going to rise to power and take over? Please...
As for the chips themselves... you do know they're causing tumors and this has set back their study of them, right? The chips in animals have shown to cause tumors... they aren't going to stick them in humans if they do that to animals... and with the news out about it, who do you think is going to take it with that risk?
Do you read anything other than the propaganda spewed by your own kind?

Rev. 18 describes 9/11 and its clear that eventurally everyone in America will be given a 'chip' .
I just can't understand why libs don't believe that the 'chip' is just around the corner...all the dogs have them.

I see it's time for me to share this little bed time story:
THE DAMNATION OF HOLLY LEWYER

During a busy day injecting people with microchips and damning souls, Gus is distracted for a moment, and as he dashes off to answer a phone call, absent mindedly drops one of the needles in his coat pocket. The call is from his wife, saying she found a 2 for 1 coupon for their favorite restaurant in the newspaper. They agree to meet there for supper when Gus gets off work. Gus sends a few more people to a Christless eternity, via his little shot needles, but forgets about the one in his coat pocket. After work, sitting at a booth enjoying Chateau Briand, and carrots in a piquant orange glaze, Gus removes his jacket, and lays it on the booth beside him. The needle rolls out, and, charged with its eternally deadly cargo, lands between the cushions of the booth. A lovely meal ended, Gus and Mildred go home.
The next couple entering the restaurant are a Ministerial couple. Pastors of a charming--if only modestly sized--Charismatic church a couple of miles away. It is the 18th wedding anniversary for The Reverend Hal, and Holly Lewyer; and they have decided to celebrate with dinner and tickets to a local production of THE MUSIC MAN. They have had an exhausting day of visiting ill parishioners, settling the church budget, and calling on unsaved relatives of church members; Praise God!! They led three people to the Lord today! Holly is a little frazzled because the has also had to put out the fires of 'church gossip' in the Ladies Group, FOUR TIMES today! But now she can finally relax over a lovely meal, and share this romantic anniversary evening with her beloved Hal.
Little does she know that ETERNAL DANGER even at that moment awaits her! As the Maitre D' escorts them to their booth, Mrs. Lewyer doesn't even realize that she is in her LAST MOMENTS AS A SAVED PERSON!!! (Dramatic music, please.....)
As Holly sits, suddenly she feels...........THE JAB OF ETERNAL DEATH!!!! She jumps up, and says: "Ouch! Oh, darn it! Now I've gone and lost my salvation!! What a day! I must be a big disappointment to you, Hal; knowing now I'll go to hell..............."
Does this scenario sound silly to you? Well it does to me, too!
