I think it does. I think everything is something we learn from....
From life changing events like a death, or the smaller things like falling over.

In a way. I don't think people die so I can learn a lesson, but I think things are interwieved so that that result would happen from the event. I think there is good and bad in every situation.

I think any believer who has the spiritual discernment to stand back and look at their life will see that every step....led them to where they stand in Christ today. When I was an atheist I hated the idea of 'regret'. I didnt want to regret anything when I looked back on my life. As a believer...that same feeling is now justified by my walk in Christ. Every mistake...every heartache...every high and low...was the exact path that led me to find God. As the Word says..."whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified."
Sadly, for those who are outside of God's Will and are not predestined to know Him...their lives are at the mercy of the Prince of this World and therefore...go through a random existence.

No sir...innocent women/childern raped/killed in Darfur i dont believe happens for a higher or good reason...the reason is cause the world is f!@#ed up! i dont think starving children will understand whats happening if you tell them 'oh its happens for a reason'

Yep! My dad died 3 years ago... It was really hard, we were really close, But the Lord used it to draw me closer to Him. And though I still miss my dad like crazy! I wouldn't bring Him back... He would be mad at me anyway coming back from Heaven! lol
