As a Christian I am appauled that a leader in the ministry had a million dollar wedding using money from the ministry. That money could have been better spent on the needy. I am ashamed of these people who are using the ministry to gain wealth. With this type of garbage going on in the Christian leadership I am not surprised that the church in America is luke warm.

was once divorced? I was listening to a Christian radio program and a man who had been in prison was talking about how he is a head pastor of a church now. I don't see that as a problem but I find it odd. Now you see a pastor of a church that was once divorced, no matter what his current marital status is now, and he is concidered SCRIPTURALLY WRONG? Why is that? Yes I know what the Bible says. So would you rather have an ex prisoner as your pastor or a man that had 1 divorce?

If the story of Genesis is not a metaphor, then the bible has been proven false by our acquired knowledge of evolution.

OR

If the story of Genesis is a metaphor, then the holy spirit deceived thousands of believers for thousands of years who thought the story of Genesis was literal, and continues to deceive those who still think it's literal.

OR

The bible is fiction and there is no holy spirit.

I just learned today that there is a for-profit company called Unicor that uses federal prisoners as cheap labor. Since a wide variety of people are in prison for non-violent and victimless crimes, isn't this effectively a conflict of interest? We have the highest prison population in the world: perhaps this is the reason why. This contracting agency is making mega-bucks and paying the prisoners peanuts.

Unicor calls it "the best-kept secret in outsourcing." Is this an appropriate use of prison labor?

I know they allow you additional opportunities to ask and answer questions but is that all? Does having more points somehow imply greater credibility in answers? Should I strive to garner more points? Can I turn in more points for the *big* bunny rabbit toy?

Sorry, I'm new here.

Jesus is our Savior and soon comeing King! Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings! Jesus is the answer to all things! Jesus is alive and He loves you. He forgives sins and saves! All you have to do is accept Jesus as your Savior and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Also to come into your heart and save you. Live for Jesus and you will have everlasting life in heaven with Jesus! This nation will fall if we don't put God back into our schools and other public places. If we did that you would see alot of good things happen in this world. Most of the world has turned there backs on Jesus. Thats why this nation is not blessed! Turn to Jesus and the nation will be blessed! I believe in the power of prayer! Jesus is all powerful! You can not hide from Jesus! He knows all that goes on in your life. So you can't hide no sin from Him! Jesus see's everything you do. No matter where you are at. Jesus loves you! Why don't you accept Jesus and have faith! He is real!!

ever wonder why no one ever attacks Muhammed, Buddha, or any other gods when they want to say 'god does not exist'? Why do people run so hard away from the God of the Bible? Could it be because deep inside they KNOW who He really is?

Eccles. 9:5,10 shows the dead feel nothing, do nothing.
Psalms 146:4 shows at death the thoughts do perish.

John 5:28 , 29 and Acts 24:15 show the dead wait on a resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous Meaning those who through ignorance of righteous standards did not follow a righteous course

How can you be tortured in Hell if you do nor know anything or feel anything? How can you wait on something if you cant think? if thoughts perish? this makes no sence

2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The verses above say that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. That is thoroughly furnishes us unto all good works. This says the scripture is enough for what w need. So why do we need tradition? If tradition is so important why is there not a similar verse for tradition? Can you show me where it says "all tradition of the Catholic church is given by inspiration of God"?

"Lord, the God of righteousness and truth, grant to our Queen and her government, to Members of Parliament and all in positions of responsibility, the guidance of your Spirit. May they never lead the nation wrongly through love of power, desire to please, or unworthy ideals but laying aside all private interests and prejudices keep in mind their responsibility to seek to improve the condition of all mankind; so may your kingdom come and your name be hallowed.

Amen."
