Why can't he choose both? Isn't he supposed to love us? Why would he punish people who've been good but have seen no evidence for him?

Is it maybe because he isn't such a nice goddy after all?

God will always choose the BELIEVER; the one who believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

There is no such thing as a 'good unbeliever.'
